Well everyone can rest easy, Courtney Love is now on the case.

I don't think we're allowed to post links to Facebook on here, but if you go to her page, she has posted a satellite photo that she scribbled on some arrows on, pointing out what she thinks is submerged wreckage and an oil slick.

I had a good laugh at the mental picture of her hunched over Tomnod squinting away at the screen.

hahahahahaha that's the best news ever

thank you - I can now go to sleep comforted knowing she's sleuthing away!!!

:floorlaugh: :seeya:

p.s. someone send her a link to this WS thread! ~giggle~

I saw it too - I actually thought it might have validity and a few other posters agreed. I thought the "oil slick" looked more like bright blue floating seat cushions though! Actually, I kind of admire Courtney Love - she is smart and talented, if a little troubled. IMO.

Malaysian opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim condemned on Tuesday speculation that the captain of a missing Malaysian airliner -- a member of Anwar's party -- may have been driven by political motives to sabotage the plane.

Describing Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah as a "decent man", Anwar said he was "disgusted" by what he saw as an attempt to smear the pilot and somehow implicate the opposition leadership in the March 8 disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370.

Have the two met do we know?

Yes Waddles I saw the interview on sky news and he said he had saw the pilot at a political meetings but didn't know him.

I have added a link to article about this.

In a South China Morning Post report this morning, however, the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) de facto chief was quoted as saying he remembers seeing Zaharie at PKR's political meetings in the past, even if he did not directly know the man.

“I don't recollect the name, but when the photographs were shown I remembered I had seen him at party meetings,” he reportedly told SCMP when met outside PKR's headquarters in Petaling Jaya.

If they did it, they don't care. Are you serious?

No I wasnt being serious.

I do not believe at this point there is a valid reason to suspect the pilots, as the plane is missing still.

It could have crashed , It could have been Stolen by another hostile government. It could be on an island awaiting rescue.

All reports are that the pilot was a caring friend ,family man and was involved in trying to make a positive change in his country's leadership. (which is the 4th most corrupt in business practices in the world. )

He has had people support him ,who do not hide there names from the media ,even one from the USA which is brave and speaks volumes.

I just feel like they are victims at this point ,of whatever unknown fate and I am awaiting until they are named as suspect to call them that.

God forbid that evil people got to him simply because he does have a highly regarded community profile. Perhaps the bad folks threatened harm to his family and he was coerced into stealing the plane. Sincerely, he could be a victim in this whole thing too.

Maybe this has been talked about.

But if they were hijacked, the pilots have a secret warning to warn of a hijacking.

YEs...this is one scenario that crossed my mind!!!! he may have been threatened into it....not by a gun held to his head on the plane, but by threats to his family...

I don't know if it has been discussed before but for those who are thinking it is something to do with the cargo, have you read the Diego Garcia theory!!

sheesh.....I cant post it as it isn't on any MSM links that I can find...

but there are a lot of people that are right into this theory.....seems a bit far fetched to me...

basically it involves the US navy diverting the plane to Diego Garcia Atoll because of the cargo on it (or even the 20 techies), the passengers are being held safe there.....and the cargo is something important re China backing Russia against the Ukraine....... went over my head.

Regarding the cargo: Several days ago (don't remember how many and I'll never find it again) I read on an Asian news website that a large amount of a certain fruit was a large part of the cargo. I cannot for the life of me remember the name of the fruit.

Here is what I remember about the fruit: It grows on a tree, it is native to Malaysia, Malaysia exports a lot of it, it is expensive to purchse
