Man seen carrying diaper clad baby

  • #641
But that is KCKS. hehehe different city, different state. KCMO has the same thing too but just had to add it. KC peeps will understand.

Looking at nursebeeme's map, the first thing I noticed was the second sighting being close to a cemetery. But when I zoom in, I don't see any headstones.....It just looks like vacant land.

Actually there's two. On one side of NE 48th St there's Roger cemetery, and opposite that there's Crowley cemetery.
As a local, can you help me out here? Are they currently used cemeteries, is it land set to be a cemetery, or something else?

TIA.

not saying this is the case, but in my genealogy research over the years I've been in pauper cemeteries where only flat stones are laid, and many of the graves have no markers. Just FWIW.

If LE had clarified who this man (or men) with baby (or babies) running around the streets at midnight (or 4AM) they probably would not tell the public anyway. They haven't wanted to release much of anything at all. We would not even know about the FBI cadaver dog hit if not for the judge declaring that it had to be made public against LE's wishes. JMO

I'm sorry if this was covered in pages I missed, but is it possible that the man carrying the baby is some mentally ill person?

I don't know that I'd totally trust eyewitnesses on height or looks and that sort of thing, but I can see this situation standing out to witnesses.

In trying to reconcile the sightings with the cadaver dog hits, one guess is that the man killed the baby (suffocation, perhaps?) while in the mother's room.

I hope LE is able to find physical evidence of a stranger if a stranger did do this. I can't decide much of anything without more evidence, so far.

I am jumping in here late but someone said last night on TV said that it was half past 12 for the first sighting and it was 4 the second. That is only 2 and half hours, which could make it plausible. He may have stopped for a time in during the walk, or it may have taken him that long to walk the 3 miles.

Interesting how that sighting is going from 12am to 12:15am to 12:30am. Wonder why? Something not fitting in with the sighting timeline? :innocent:

No, that's 3 and a half hours. I find the idea that some dude would kidnap a baby in a diaper and then walk around with the baby for hours and hours particularly bizarre.

I made a mistake on the time so I deleted my previous post. I agree it is bizarre, the whole story from the beginning is bizarre. I don't think we can completely dismiss the witnesses though.

And if I was interviewed about something, I am pretty sure I would start off with what I saw. Not what somebody else saw.

Absolutely. So would I.

imo

And she absolutely may have. That's the thing with splicing.

Yes, exactly... and then the other neighbors don't want to talk to the media because they've seen other's statements rearranged, spliced and diced...

And why would that be a problem? If these neighbors know anything they should talk to LE, not the media anyway.

I completely agree. I've just seen where there's a big to-do about the neighbors not talking. I wouldn't want to talk to the media either. :innocent:

New surveillance footage of mystery man may support Lisa Irwin parents' claim that their daughter was abducted.

In video obtained exclusively by "Good Morning America," a man dressed in white is seen leaving a wooded area, at 2:30 a.m. -- the night of Lisa's disappearance.

The family claims Lisa was abducted and they point to key witnesses who saw a suspicious man that night, carrying a baby.

Wow. I read the story, but they didn't link the video. GMA doesn't come on here for another 45 minutes. Anyone been able to watch the video yet?

BBM

You have to wait several seconds for the video to come up. The picture of Lisa in pink will eventually change into the video.

I saw the video but I have no idea what it is they are so excited about. I am not even sure how can they claim that it was a man on video-you can't make anything out. Also these witnesses who supposedly saw a man with a baby claimed he was wearing a t-shirt and jeans. And whatever is on that video doesn't seem to be even wearing that.

That's exactly what I just posted on another thread.

:waitasec:

ETA: Also, this person isn't carrying a baby, imo. I can see both arms swininbg as he/she walks.
