K, talking head expert on FOX right now saying 2nd degree means there was intent. I think what he's trying to say is that premeditated is completely different than "intent."

Paraphrasing....

Jurors would have to be swayed to believe there was "intent to harm."

Intent to harm. Sounds like they can prove it was a "rough ride".

I caught that anger too. She is very young and very angry. Her micro-expressions were almost scary.

She's young and out to change the world, the same we all were when we were young and idealistic.

I'm not sure they can prove that. Earlier I heard it was not a "rough ride". Could be wrong, I've heard a lot dontcha know.

So from the charges it appears there is evidence of a hands on assault?

While I feel some sort of charges should have been brought against certain officer(s), I can 't help to feel this was some kind of political, keep the peace thing. Like I said before, this is the same SA who indicted Michael Johnson for Phylicia Barnes murder AFTER he had already been acquitted for her murder. Needeless to say, he was never arrested and and the judge dismissed the charges.

IDK...that does not jive with the other occupant's statement as he described it as a "smooth ride," and it seems as if FG was still moving about in some kind of fashion while the other guy was also in the van.

This is why I don't like how angry she seemed, as well as her comments about her "personal opinions" in response to some of the questions.

Her comments at the end seemed to invalidate her earlier ones that stated these officers are not a reflection of the whole department.

Now I really wish I could find that timeline that was outlined on the Kelly file last night.

Well, this should stop all rioting , right?
Something tells me that's wishful thinking but in a perfect world.
I'm very surprised at the murder charge.

i wouldn't want to be a baltimore cop standing on the front lines today/this weekend..

i thought i heard she just received the autopsy report
this morning . . . so i'd guess they had everything else in place prior to its receipt?

On CNN this man is angry as heck and said it isn't over until he sees them actually convicted. Not sure who he was yelling at and blaming... I think it was the LEO's standing there.

I get the impression that the assault charges stem from the arrest. I am wondering if that is where the false imprisonment charges come from as well since she said they held him down against his will.

Six careers ruined.

Even so, I feel justice was somewhat done. I, myself, had a run-in with violent, "I am God" LE. I'm glad to see the people on the street happy for some justice, their smiles bring sunshine to the day. I would like to believe all LE are perfect, but "I" know they aren't always. My uncle was LE, and there were some things... Even so, I am torn, as I'm sure a lot of others are.

RSBM

Mosby said her office did a "comprehensive, thorough and independent" investigation that began April 13, the day after Gray was injured.

"My team worked around the clock, 12- and 14-hour days," she said.

If I heard correctly during the press conference she said they also worked with the Baltimore Co. Sheriff's Dept. She said, if I remember correctly, the police report received yesterday added no new information to what their investigation had already discovered.

MOO.

It will be interesting to see what happens after school is let out.

I have never seen somebody be charged with both murder and manslaughter. Also, they are charging people with both manslaughter and involuntary manslaughter??

They'll probably riot with happiness. Yeah, I am torn up about ALL of this and not just this case. I want so bad to be fair, love, and see justice done, but. . .

We've heard that the portion of the drive with the second prisoner was smooth. IDK, for whatever reason the driver is being singled out as having intent to harm. To me that sounds like they believe he something to Freddie G., I think a "rough ride" is possible. For all we know right now he didn't intend to hurt FG, he might have driving normally.

I'm also not sure if I can conclude that FG moving around and able bodied based on his report. Four seconds of "bumping" could be a seizure.
