This might stop them for a while. Until it gets to court. What happens if she can't convict?
Ah, but she will, consider the jury pool. And, if not, remember Ferguson burning?

I have. It gives the jury the chance to choose which crime they feel is most appropriate.
It seems that Freddie was arrested for carrying a knife that was legal to carry.

The family said early on that the knife wasn't a switchblade. But the commissioner very clearly said that it was a spring loaded knife.
I have a hard time mustering up sympathy for a heroin dealer.
I hope the police searched hard for drugs that might have been ditched when he was running.
They do not know exactly what happened to cause his death is what I understand. Other than having no seat belt.

BREAKING: @MarilynMosbyEsq announces criminal charges against officers involved in #FreddieGray's death
I would like to see the toxicology report too. I know what you're saying about him being a drug dealer but this time it appears he wasn't breaking the law.
Hahahaha.Well, this should stop all rioting , right?
Something tells me that's wishful thinking but in a perfect world.
I'm very surprised at the murder charge.
They need something like automatic seat belts in there or some sort of roll bar like a roller coaster has.Oh, I'm not saying that LE didn't do some wrong. They definitely should have seat belted him in. I understand that they didn't because they were afraid he would bite them, but their rules say they have to, so they have to.
I just have no sympathy for heroin dealers and wish they would all go away. It sucks that these six officers have the potential for prison over someone like that.
Police officers in squad cars also have to reach over to belt the person in.
I wonder how they manage it?
She charged it. Now can she prove it? I haven't seen her pc yet that is going to be interesting. I really thought there might be a grand jury for one or more of them. But never thought there would be charges.

And that is going to cause problems in court. She will have to come up with a theory of the crime, who did what when, and how those actions were illegal.
And bear in mind, there is no guarentee that the case will be done in this county. There is no guarentee that she will be the prosecutor. And it is very likely that jury will be racially mixed.
