  :waitasec:

okay I'll admit I started reading here late in this case, but did read thread #1, and wanted to catch up with you all, so started reading the latest thread; which means I skipped 6 threads... so all the bolded initials above are unknown to me!! :whoosh: If anyone can take the time and let me know 'who' all these people are, it would be very much appreciated!! I know who JD is! LOL! :seeya:

Just a suggestion : Here is the link for askfonina's Timeline

I hope this helps.

What group did JD get in touch with about missing posters, etc concerning Ayla?

I'm thinking that either JD is a fantastic BS'er or the woman in charge of it is not a great judge of character. She was on JVM and said that to her JD sounded sincere in wanting help from her orginization about getting info out about Ayla.

JD initially came across as genuine. Also, the organization works for Ayla...not the DiPietro's.

NG is saying abc news is reporting that JD is saying Ayla was sleeping downstairs with him! Yet another version. We were wondering about the basement. They are describing it as unfinished.

On NG: Dipetro walked out of police station when he was shown the luminol photos of the blood.

I question if the leak was really a leak in the truest sense of the word.

Wouln't be the first time LE intentionally let the press get hold of a juicy tidbit to apply pressure when at an impasse.

:cow: :cow: and all that jazz

My thoughts exactly! Went to kitchen to make a snack, while making the snack was thinking exact same thing. Came back and here was your post.

I must say watching it has been interesting. I do think it is very possible it was planned. If so, good job!

:waitasec: What's wrong with these reporters ? Did I hear Candiotti -- guest on NG's show refer to Justin as "Jason" -- this was when she was talking about the basement ?

:waitasec: I was thinking why is she calling him that guy in the horror movie series ?

oh never mind ...

Why does LE do this? To get a confession? It doesn't work. They end up lawyering up and then what?

I don't get it.

Police spokesperson repeated that SOME of the blood was Ayla's. ???? So cryptic.
He can't reveal where the blood was located specifically i.e on the floor, etc.

How the heck could she have been sleeping in the basement with Daddy if she was kidnapped by an intruder?

Oh, I get it, ----he needs to explain the blood evidence. The perp snuck down the stairs, goes into a basement where a toddlers two [step]parents are asleep, and they bash a baby on the head and run away, without waking anyone up. :furious:

I've not posted much here, mosly lurking a reading. The gate keeps coming up. The gate was apparently broken at some point.

Was it not strong enough? Did Ayla wake in the night scared and go through it and take a deadly fall down the stairs? Justin's sister is said to have rushed or gone downstairs to see if Ayla was downstairs. Was the gate ever there?

Since we can't believe what anyone in the house has said, who knows?

And the stairs themselves! In many homes of the age of this house, the stairs to the basement are steep, with undersized steps. I've always had difficulty going down those sort of stairs.

Was the blood near the bottom of the stairs?

I hope someone here can point me in a direction.

If JD and his girlfriend were downstairs "sleeping" in the basement, I am sure that the door down to the basement was closed. So the gate does not apply in my opinion.

Maybe they are hoping it will affect other people around the person of interest. A lot of posters have been talking about JD's family & gf seeing the heat getting turned up, eg. Or maybe they could force an Alford Plea.

Thinking "out loud" here ... since the "intruder" theory is out the window ...

Which one of the Waterville 3 that were in the house the night Ayla went "missing" will be the first one to arrive the police station and spill it ?

:waitasec: Or ... will they all remain silent ?

:waitasec: Or ... who will point the finger at who ?

MOO ...

Talking about what the oddities could be. My opinion: the house was recently cleaned or smelled like cleaning agents? JM

Some homes in New England do not have doors to go down to the basement.

Police spokesperson: Justin did not know that at all r.e. Trista filing for full custody of Ayla the day before she goes missing.

I think LE knows they were not going to get the truth from JD at this point, lawyer or no lawyer, and maybe one of the other two, if not directly involved, may be able to work thru their lawyers and come forward.

My family is from New Brunswick and many of the homes I have seen have an open stairwell down to the basement with a rail and no door. It can almost be like a hole in the floor and definitely must be blocked or baby-proofed.

:(
I am beyond sickened. Although not surprised at all. To hear "blood spatter" and "evidence of clean up" brings visions of poor precious little Zahra Baker and poor precious little Aliahna Lemmon. My mind cannot go there yet, but the possibility exists. I choose to think of a nose bleed or a fall down the steps, but know deep down that those scenarios are probably not part of this case. I only hope her little body is found in a river somewhere (*complete), or uncovered in the woods near her home. No, I take that back. I will leave out the word "home" because the word home denotes shelter, refuge, retreat, asylum - all things that this "house" never was.

I think we may know what the big noise was. I wonder if LE took tools out of the shed.
