South Portland police are asking for the public’s help in locating a local man last seen Tuesday.

Carlos Ordonez, 69, is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds, and has brown hair and eyes.

South Portland police are asking for the public's help in locating 69-year-old Carlos Ordonez, who has been missing since Tuesday.

He was last seen Tuesday in the Old English Village area of South Portland and may have been carrying a guitar case.

Officials are searching the Clark’s Pond and Brick Hill area of South Portland for him today.

South Portland police overnight issued a Silver Alert for Ordonez.

Anyone who has seen Ordonez this week is asked to call South Portland police at 207-874-8575.

Authorities say 69-year-old Carlos Ordonez was located along the banks of the Fore River in South Portland. A man walking his dog in the woods near the river found his body at about 5 p.m.
