It makes me so sad imagining how lonely and isolated Valerie must have felt in the months preceding her death, being so far from her family. Looking through the photos her friends and family posted on Facebook, you can really see the difference this man made in her. The light in her eyes had faded. Like others have said, the photo of them with the truck spoke volumes. I'm so angry that her sorry excuse for a husband destroyed a vibrant, beautiful woman and took her from those that actually loved her. I will never understand why men like him are attracted to happy, loving, kind women and then proceed to abuse them until they snuff out that light that attracted them in the first place. Then for him to blame her and smear her all over her father's Facebook when he knew exactly where she was the entire time just fills me with rage.
