During a news conference, Detroit Police Chief James Craig says there is video of one of the suspects going into the building. They were arrested in a room inside a commercial building in the area. White says they have information that the couple was helped in getting into the building and that will be part of the investigation. When asked, White says someone let them into the building and they did not break in.

White also says they have identified the person who helped them and that person will face charges. White says whatever those charges will be will be determined by the office of Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy.

A tipster found their abandoned car and called police. They were found in the basement of an abandoned building in the block of 1100 Bellevue St in Detroit. They were captured on video going inside.

Weren't these 2 parents supposed to turn themselves in? maybe they somehow got lost in Detroit--- it is thought they were heading to Canada--- I think they should be nominated for the worst parents (almost ever)---their kid is in jail and they go on the run- I mean really, who would believe it???

LE seems to be doing a good job of building the case against them without their help.

The public is fed up with these kinds of people and their selfish antics. LE is getting a lot of help in locking them up.
