I am new to this thread. I have a few questions. Sorry if they have been answered already. I haven not yet gone through the whole thread yet.

Brian Perigo was mentioned as a person investigated by police. An an (old) article says that he remains a suspect.

What was his connection to Ally. Did Ally know him?

Do we know the precise route she was jogging, and the precise location she was found?

Ok I forget. Why do we think her parents might be involved?

I did a lot of research in all of this when Brian Perigo was arrested. I don’t believe he has any connection at all to Ally. I guess someone who knew Brian Perigo sent in a tip about him possibly being involved in killing the local jogger. But apparently this never ended up leading to anything.

Route?
No, I honestly don’t think she had a regular “route”. Now, there are roads I’m sure that were regularly included in different routes she would take. But as far as there being just one regular route she ran every day? I don’t think there really was.

Precise location?
Again no. The closest I can narrow it down is 11000 Fish Lake Rd. She collapsed in the guys front yard, but that guys name has never been released. If we knew the name, we could find an exact address of where she collapsed.

In media interviews, Ally's mother refers to her daughter as "my best friend". As the mother of an only daughter myself, I can safely say that moms are close to our only children, but I never thought of my daughter as "my best friend". She's my daughter, and I'm always going to be her mother (DD is married, has children of her own, and lives out-of-state). At some point, all children must become independent individuals and live their own lives.

I suspect that it might have been difficult for Ally's parents to "let go" of their only child, especially since they seem much older than most parents of a 30-year-old. Was there a sense that Ally's mother, father, or both parents were possessive or fearful of losing their "little girl" and perhaps not wanting to let Ally live her own life? How long had Ally lived independently from her parents? Whose idea was it for Ally to move back home with her parents despite the lengthy commute to work?

Combatmedic2121 you wrote: She collapsed in the guys front yard

I have been thinking about where Alexandra was shot and I am hoping you can add information that we don't know.

Are you assuming she collapsed in this guy's front yard? The reason I ask is that what if she was shot say in another person's front yard area and made it to this guy's front yard and then collapsed. I would hope the police wouldn't just assume she collapsed where she was shot and would check out all the yards before to see if there was any blood anywhere.

Do you know if this guy saw her collapse or are you assuming this is where she collapsed? I can't find the answer in the media.

Thank you for sharing what you know.

Collapsed

The reason I say she collapsed is because this is what I’ve been told by both her mother and police. That after being shot she had ran some distance trying to get help, but by the time she finally found a house she had lost too much blood. It’s believed she was trying to get to the house for help but collapsed in the front lawn. I don’t know how far she had to run or anything like that and I don’t believe the guy who found her laying in his front lawn actually saw her collapse.

Family dynamics

I will tell you this. The family dynamics is critical in understanding the motive. Franz is extreme posessive over his wife Nikki. We’re talking to an extent that is so extreme that Franz would be jealous if Nikki ever spent anytime with anyone else.... this is to include his own daughter.
It’s the main reason Ally never got along with her father. Franz never wanted anything to do with her. He took Zero interest in Ally’s life in anyway and would just preferred Ally stay away from him and his wife. Nikki, on the other hand, did love her daughter and they were very very close, and this is something Franz always despised.
When we had started dating Ally was quick to want to get out of that house. I had let her move in with me. When we had broken up over the marriage issue and she moved back home... I can assure everyone, Franz was very likely extremely upset Nikki had let Ally move back home into “his house” as he likes to describe it.
That’s all I can really say without compromising to much of the current investigation. Sorry.

This is from an old article (August 2016) with video showing the area Ally was jogging. it certainly looks very full with foliage.

Excellent question! I'm sure many people have been interviewed by LE, but details regarding Ally's friends' impression of her parents and their relationship are probably pertinent to the investigation and won't be made public until there's a trial.

  • #294
That’s absolutely right! Interviews with people who were also aware of this probably won’t come out until the trail. All can tell you is yes! Many people were aware of this and they’ve all spoken to police. So LE is fully aware of this as well.

I just watched the Crime Watch Daily videos again and Chris Hansen does use the word "collapsed" when describing where Ally was found.

I just am struck again by how tiny she was, just 4'9" tall. From the back, she might have looked like a young girl running along the road. I have no idea if that is relevant. But her tiny stature just stood out to me in viewing the videos again. In the video, LE says they believe 5 shots were fired and one hit Ally.

Like I said, this case is solved. I have no doubt about this! It’s just a matter of time, LE is kind of late to the game and their going to need time to catch up and gather enough evidence to ensure a conviction.
We just have to be patient. It’s only a matter time at this point.

She is a smaller target and running as well. With a shotgun, simetimes people aim too high if they don’t have a lot of experience. It seems like this killer was not a very good shot

That's very interesting. So maybe the killer was very young or hadn't used a shotgun much (or ever before).

But what does that mean, "this case is solved". Do you, or law enforcement, have some proof or is it just a strong suspicion? How can you be so sure?

Maybe there were 2 people in the car and one shot while the other drove, hence the missed shots.
