It's really beginning to sound like at least some of what he said is true . . . I'm a little surprised that she was in the car (apparently alive) at 8.

And that does begin to explain why he was up and out so early - he had to take the boy to school.

The 15-year-old wouldn't have been going to WCCC, so I'm guessing he was being dropped off at a school in Highland Park that was mentioned in an early article or newscast. jmo

any way we can gather a list of places it's been said that Dad was in the area of the morning of the carjacking and pin them on a map?

I missed this article....
http://www.freep.com/article/201112...troit-family-pleads-return-missing-2-year-old
"Everything is confusing and cloudy," said Weaver, describing Lane as a longstanding member of the family. "Half of the family believes Dre, and the other half have their doubts."
also..
He said Bianca was spending the week with her father and added that Lane was on his way to their home at the time of the reported carjacking to pick up more clothes for his daughter because he and the girl's mother agreed that she could stay with him for a month.

BBM.....a month? that seems a little long for a 2 yr old to be away from mom doesn't it?

Of course Bianca's Dad couldn't take her back to her mama after probably leaving marks on her from beating her...............JMO. :furious:

PS. You didn't do an experiment to see if you could blackout from drinking a whole box did you.

Not a chance.

I'd like to know when Mom and dad had the conversation about Bianca spending another month and who's idea was it that Dad come to get more clothes that morning?
Maybe whatever happened didn't happen that morning and Dad was pressed to bring Bianca that day to pick up more clothes.
As for the 15 yr old saying she was in the car that morning.....did he see her or did he just see a wrapped bundle in a carseat?

I think whatever happened happened right after the witness saw the father spank Bianca so hard that he told him to stop. I'm thinking the father wasn't very happy with being chastised by another adult on his parenting........and took it out on poor little Bianca.

Wonder who the "witness" is? The girlfriend in the house on Mitchell? A neighbor? Someone else who visited the house on Thursday? DPD being tight-lipped about this.

As far as I know, from the initial news report, the coat that was found was several miles away and was found, I am assuming, by the news crew, as they were the ones that showed it to Bianca's mom.

The search warrant on Mom's home, paired with Dandre's impending release from jail, leads me to believe that LE is serving these warrants to make sure that they have covered all the angles they need to cover in order to move forward, soon, with charges against Dandre in reference to Bianca.

If she was alive, in the car at 8 a.m., I am really leaning towards a scenario, where he may have thrown her into water alive. SHe was only two, definitely would not have been able to swim her way out, and then he doesn't have to worry about decomp giving him away, and he doesn't even have to get his hands dirty.

All of the above, JMO.

Wouldn't the surveillance video showing dad and nephew at the school at 8:10 a.m. also show a toddler in a car seat (if she was truly in the car at that time).
Car seats usually sit pretty high in the car.

I'm seeing in some articles that it was a male neighbor who supposedly stopped the spanking, but I can't find a MSM report saying that.

My question too. I'm really curious now about if he was running from the area where the "carjackers" took the vehicle or running from the area where the car was found.:waitasec: I hope we get a clarification on this quickly.

If he was armed, then why would he let them take his baby girl?

For a month? I don't believe it. IIRC one of the earliest MSM articles stated Bianca was expected home by 11am the day she was allegedly carjacked.

What kind of BS stories is DL feeding his family?

If he was armed, for any reason, he is going back to jail...felons don't get firearms.

I am not going to completely accept the 15 yr olds sighting yet. I want to know more about his relationship with the suspect. He may have been forced to say that somehow.

I would think so, but DPD isn't providing many details about the investigation. Next local news is at 4:00 on WDIV. Hopefully, there will be some updates from reports at noon. www.clickondetroit.com

I'm thinking as a past criminal.....he couldn't leave his gun behind in the car as he technically was not allowed to possess any firearms. But I wonder what he did with the gun? He obviously didn't have it on him when taken into custody or I think we would have heard about that.

If he was armed, I wonder if the weapon will be found not far from where the car was found? If he didn't have the weapon on him when he first spoke with LE, I wonder if he left it in moms home?

Or perhaps the witness did not really see a weapon or thought they saw a weapon but did not.

This interview was with Bianca's uncle who supposedly lives in the same house with Bianca and Mom.
