Thank you katydid'! :blowkiss: You are amazing, thank you for transcribing!

I'm checking in and so terribly disappointed I can't watch while reading the transcription. Even without sound, I'd love to get the visual on what is occuring.

What happened earlier after the last post prior to mine? Lunch break?

Keep the updates coming please! They are very much appreciated.

ETA: Oops, never mind. I don't know how I glossed over the info that they were on lunch break up thread. I did.... sorry.

Kaydid ...Thank you so much for transcribing!

:yourock:

wow! that phone call where DL is trying to make sure his daughter won't say anything bad against him...

then offering for them to get back together....

Incredibly damning evidence!!!

:woohoo:

I am surprised A's mom told the court about the injuries under A's tongue...

But I imagine she had no choice since it was probably on record at the school.

I have to ask myself how in the world D'Andre can get anyone to not be fully honest and forthcoming on the witness stand. I mean, we're seeing with our own eyes and hearing with our own ears there is a place in America where babies are tossed away like trash and their mothers and extended family choose the perp over the victim. I don't know how else to say it.

I find myself really wondering where the outrage is for D'Andre's behavior. how does someone like D'Andre wield that much power over the mothers of his children and his family?

Katydid, your transcriptions were/are fantastic! Much much better than MSM is reporting. MSM is really downplaying the 8 yr olds testimony. Barely gave it a paragraph.

http://www.clickondetroit.com/news/...ther/-/1719418/16800106/-/ge35wd/-/index.html

I had to leave home and just got back so I did not get to see what happened after lunch.

I think the reason the msm is downplaying the girls testimony is because Daddy was successful in getting her to lose any prior memories. Her original testimony, which is in tape, is very damning. And the state did manage to get some of it before the jury today. But the girl followed everything up with " I don't remember.' so it is kind of nullified.

Of course she was sitting a few feet away from the man who stuffed urine soaked panties into her mouth so hard it ripped the skin under her tongue. And of course even though she told her mom what happened, her mom left her in his care for 2 more months, no questions asked.

And Mom takes a collect call from jail and flirts endlessly with the monster and soothes his soul, assuring him she was not going to cause any 'trouble' for him, and he makes another empty promise about them getting together as a family again soon -- ' when all this bullcrp is over with'.

I do appreciate this judge. She is a strong black woman in her 50's or so. She does not seem to be buying what the defense is selling. She was horrified by the panty incident and jumped in called mom out on it.

I know nothing about this jury. But I do hope there are some black single moms on there that would recognize what a 🤬🤬🤬 this guy is.

I don't know if I can explain what I saw during the 'phone call' testimony but it might have been a brilliant manuever by the state. I will try and explain it.

So the state apparently has a LONG audio tape with a bunch of Daddy's collect calls from jail on it. They were introducing a long call from Daddy to the 8yr olds mother, in which he played her for a fool and she ate it up. He talked all smooth and talked really fast and all that. But right after they introduced it into evidence, they began to play a call and it starts with the usual prison collect call info, " if u accept this 10 dollar call please pick up now.."

And you hear Daddy saying something like " Hey babay...'
and a woman breathlessly answering all sexy like, : " oohh, didnt wanna miss this call sugar...

and you see the witness on the stand SHAKING HER HEAD NO>>>>>

And the judge freaks out and yells STOP THE TAPE NOW!! That is not the witness speaking...

So, imo, the state wanted two main things to come out in that ' mistaken' audio they accidentally introduced. They wanted the witness to know that he was playing her because he was calling his sugarbaby right before he called her to check up on the 8 yr olds testimony...

And they wanted the jury to know what a DOG he is if they didnt get that already.

The judge admonished the state for the mistake but too late.

Then when you hear him calling the witness, there was none of that ' hey baby, hot stuff' going on at all. he didnt even pretend to be all hot and in love with her, other than that far off 'promise' of what will happen when he gets off free and clear from this ' bullcrap.'

Whoa wait a minute.... the panty incident where D'Andre stuffed the panties in this (now?) 8 yr old childs mouth was 2 months prior to Bianca's disappearance? :what: and the child's mother still let her daughter live with this guy? :thud:

Oh these poor kids. What their mama's are shoving down their throats as normalcy. :maddening:

I better sit on my hands for a bit.

Is testimony over for the day?

ty katydid. I knew the state might be trying to slip something out there when the whole tape "mishap" went down. I was all like "oooo oooo oo, I just know I missed something important right there."

thank you. I was wondering why the judge was so angry... your description explains it.

I hope the jury really looks closest at D'Andre's own actions and testimony per his activity. No innocent person makes collect calls from jail concerned about an 8 yr olds testimony.

No innocent person makes statements to LE during an investigation in which they are alleging their 24 month old just got kidnapped and states (paraphrased from memory) I shouldn't be here, I shouldn't be in this environment. I belong home with my family and children.

A parent in an emergency goes into emergency mode. Everything aside from focusing on the child is tuned out. There was not one thing about D'Andre's behavior which was indicative of a parents response to an emergency.

I hope the jury see's that... and I hope, after the jury gets it right there are repercussions for those who perjured themselves on the stand in this trial. More than just witness credibility, I hope and pray there are repercussions. Serious repercussions because this is scary as he77 to watch. It's like the plague or some dark cloud hanging over Detroit. I can't believe what I am hearing in this case. Can not believe it. :maddening:

The adults in this case make me sick!

I couldn't listen/watch the livestream testimony today without feeling  I am more than a little worried that D'Andre is going to walk free and get away with the murder of his beautiful but helpless baby girl.

Hope I'm wrong and :please: that there will be justice for Bianca.

I don't understand what this man's attraction is (and I use the term man loosely). He's violent, he's a liar, he's a casanova, he's unemployed, he's got a lot of babies that he doesn't pay child support for. Yet there are people falling all over him.

I hear ya. The defense seems to be on the ball. And losing the impact of the 8 yr olds testimony is a big loss, imo. I wish I knew what evidence the state really had.

I also pray there will be justice for Bianca. I share your fears.

The phone call was a wonderful piece of evidence to minimize the damage from the 8 yo's testimony. Poor girl, I feel so bad for her. I cannot imagine how confused she must be. Being (Imo) told to lie about what she knows about her father killing her baby sister? Absolutely dispicable.

Thank you katydid for transcribing and to BetteDavisEyes for being so aware and faithful in reporting local news.

I'm really torn on how big of a loss I think the 8 yr olds testimony is for the pros. We know it as a loss because we are aware of the full prior testimony.

I didn't hear it. Did they get in that no one saw Bianca move in the am? That she was not heard snoring and that she did not try and move the blanket?

ETA: Can someone explain to me why the pros couldn't play the full duration of the 8 yr olds previous testimony? Isn't that recorded?

IDK, maybe a little OT but I finding myself wondering why DCFS or CPS didn't come in and remove these kids from the likes of 'em long before Bianca went 'missing'.

The only thing that keeps me from tossing in the towel on this case is that Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy doesn't send cases to trial if she doesn't believe they can be won. Worthy didn't rush to judgment in the D'Andre Lane case: Bianca's father was not arrested or charged with her murder for several months after the toddler "disappeared". I'm inclined to believe that Ms. Worthy made sure that the is were dotted and the ts crossed before she sought to have Lane arrested and charged with his daughter's murder. The Wayne County Prosecutor is conscientious and thorough, has an excellent conviction record, and I trust that she wants Lane locked up for as long as possible just like those of us here who hope and pray for justice in the case. :moo:

Now that I think about it... I feel that the pros have probably experienced this reaction from young children on the witness stand before... And therefore had plan B put in place just in case...

I was thinking that there has been a lot of time between when the events happened and now... For a young child whose time frame is very different from an adult's.

JMO. And trying to make us feel less discouraged!

Evidently, there have never been any CPS visits to wherever D'Andre Lane "stayed" with any of his children. His attorney made this very clear at the beginning of the case shortly after his client was arrested and charged with Bianca's murder. No CPS reports = no problems with D'Andre and his offspring  The girlfriend with whom Lane was living when he was looking after Bianca should have called the police and/or CPS immediately when she knew that he was abusing the little girl, but no one wants to mess with D'Andre. :moo:
