Thursday afternoon, one of the crime scene investigators took the stand describing what they found in the Grand Marquis allegedly involved in the carjacking, which included a blanket and a child protective seat.

I am so glad to see this trial is moving fast. As much as it pains me, I would like to see a plea in exchange for Bianca's little remains

How come there is trial footage in the news but not online streaming?

Later, a visibly flustered Lane puts his head in his hands when Quincy repeatedly asks him to account for a 35-minute gap between the time he was allegedly carjacked and placed a call to his roommate for help.
Lane told the officer he "can't remember everything" and didn't call 911 because "I was messed up."​

There is nothing about D'Andre's reactions that make sense. Not one thing. Who pops their 24 month old kid from 1 am to 3 am to keep them awake because they kept nodding out due to falling out of bed? ​

I wonder when the daughter is going to testify.... I hope this isn't a case of mom bogin out. I'm sort of worried about that, mom deciding the child can't testify for some reason. ​

Praying the jury gets this right! ​

This is my fear, too... that the mom bails so that the child won't be able to testify!

I am worried about the 8 yr old's mom pulling her out as well. Especially because the teen nephew seems to be covering for his uncle. Even at the start the teen said he saw Bianca that morning and she was 'fine' in the car. So he is stuck with that previous statement now.

I know we discussed it many posts ago...

But could someone refresh my memory, please?

What happens when a juvenile (Lane's nephew) is found to have been lying under oath, or in interviews with LE, or in a court of law?

Can that follow him in records the rest of his life?
(I imagine he nor any family members are much worried about this.)

Is there some type of consequence? (This he might be more worried about!)

Nope, video not working on my end. Could be my very old computer. I'd appreciate anyone who can get the live feed to transcribe. It is so disheartening that no one will really testify for Bianca. How frightened this little girl and her mother must be.

I only heard the last 3 or 4 minutes. But the prosecutor tried hard not to sound frustrated, but the little girl just kept saying " I don't remember".

The poor prosecutor was reading previous testimony from the little girl back to her, " Do you remember when you told us about the big stick in the hall closet> "

No, I don't remember.


" Do you rememebr when you told us about your Daddy hitting Bebe with that stick? "

No I don't remember that.

" You don't remember?'

No, I have a bad re-memory....


And it went on like that for about 4 minutes until they judge called for a mini-break....

I suspect that D'Andre's 8-year-old daughter has been coached to "not remember" any of her previous testimony because it is damaging to Daddy Dearest. I hope and pray that the jury sees exactly what is going on here and can render a decision that does not allow Lane to get away with murder.

Now the defense wants to play excerpts from some video, but I don't know what video...

And the state is arguing for the entire video to be shown, not just pieces..


So the defense now says it may or may not introduce it...

And the poor child's ' daddy' is sitting right there in the courtroom, looking at her while she testifies. That must be impossible for her to say he beat her baby sister while he sits and looks right at her.

poor child. I cannot even begin to imagine the pressure she is under right now. I too suspect she has had months of coaching about how her re-memory is not that good and how she can't possibly remember that morning.

My heart hurts for her having to go through this. So scary and confusing, and no way to please all the adults looking to her to testify a certain way.
