Detroit — A Detroit man accused of fatally abusing his missing toddler was found Friday guilty of felony murder.

A Wayne County Circuit Court jury had weighed the fate of D'Andre Lane for more seven hours following testimony in the monthlong trial. Lane was charged on claims he killed 2-year-old Bianca Jones, disposed of her body at an incinerator and concocted a tale of an armed carjacking to cover up the crime.

Prosecutors in closing arguments Wednesday told the jury the child was "unwanted and unloved" by the father of seven. They allege Lane paddled her to death Dec. 2 for wetting her bed and tossed her body out like trash.

On Thursday, the panel — eight women, four women — requested first the stick Lane allegedly used to discipline Bianca — then other pieces of evidence later.

Is it wrong that I hope he wet himself when the verdict was read and on the way back to the cell someone makes him take his wet underwear off so they can shove it in his mouth???
