Me too! All I can think of is that he's probably pretty street-wise, having grown up the way he did. He may not be able to read or write on grade level, but my guess is he's not too diminished in everyday life, and I'm sure he's acquired a lot of experience with all the "like-mindeds" he's met up with in the legal system.
I keep thinking of years ago when children left school at a very young age to help support their family (ex during the depression) and you would never know they had so few formal years of education when you met them as adults.
But, I agree, I think a lot was done in a few short hours. Wonder who his help might have been?
Such anger. I kind of understand now after reading about his upbringing, but I don't excuse him at all. To function in society in the very basic way you learn what's acceptable, and abuse and murder most certainly aren't. I think he's a sociopath, if not born, than created in his environment. (and I don't even play a psychiatric professional on tv, so take that as MHOO):twocents:
I have no sympathy for him. I've seen others like him on the rez. I am tired of guys like him who have numerous babies with numerous girls, blaze up all day, beat the girls, beat the children and just walk away. The girls/children end up in a shelter or worse dead.
