A few snippets from the articles posted by FindHG. Three unsolved cases.
Chelsea Small, 30, of Gibraltar, was shot in a robbery at an Advance America payday loan store in Taylor a year ago.
Julia Niswender of Monroe, 23, a student at Eastern Michigan University, was found dead in her off-campus apartment two years ago.
Chelsea Bruck, from Maybee, disappeared from a Halloween Party in Newport, October 25/26 this year.
The Niswinder and Bruck children attended school together, have known each other at least 10 years.
Ms. Small's mom and Julia Niswinder's mom met at a competition dart game and immediately connected. Ms. Small has two young daughters, being raised by their father now. Hopefully, surveillance video will lead to an arrest in her case.
Julia Niswinder: No surveillance video available, no sign of forced entry or theft. It is believed she was asphyxiated, then placed in the tub at her apartment and left to drown.
From MyFoxDetroit:
At first police looked at a possible connection between Bruck's disappearance and Niswender's death, but did not find one.
"Just ironic, it just happened to be," said Leandra Bruck, Chelsea Bruck's mother.
"Two years we lost Julia," said Cassandra Bruck. "I was there for Jen, now Chelsea is missing and she's there for me. It's just the weirdest coincidence that has ever happened."
All three have separate cash rewards. Crimestoppers is helping out. Rewards range from $10,000 to $52,000. Call 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
