A sophisticates, no insult intended at all, baited questions could really mean so many things, thought provoking to say the least. What would a sophisticated approach be?

Regarding the county law enforcement and their experience with this sort of thing.

I spent hours last night searching for any other info etc on Chelsea and besides a whole bunch of psychic predictions....I'm feeling frustrated as I'm sure many other are.

The families of Julia Niswinder, Chelsea Small, and Chelsea Bruck come together for an event tonight.

TRAGEDY BINDS FAMILIES
Two families have been brought together under tragic circumstances. Although they knew of each other’s situations, they never met until they played darts against each other in the Monroe Dart League. “We’re dart-connected,” Ms. Kamin said.

The third family in this story is the Brucks. Chelsea Bruck has been missing since Oct. 26, and the family’s motivation to keep her story told is stronger than ever. On Saturday night, Help Find Chelsea Bruck supporters participated in the Ida Christmas parade with a bright float called “Hope Anchors the Soul.” It was decorated with purple ribbons and lights, Chelsea’s favorite color.

SOME ONE mentioned this had become a cold case. It has temp. wise but not time wise. I usually consider a case unsolved after a year cold.

The investigation barely seems to have exhausted itself yet, may be the silence from LE means they may have more of direction to go in, one can hope. I'm trying to use this new map thingy skibaboo pointed out with which I can do some rough estimates of the party layout, on a google sat image. If anyone wants to make suggestions or additions, just let me know, as I slowly pull it together.

Thank you, Spellbound for that lovely image of the gorgeous sisters and the info. Some more great local coverage below.

A few snippets from the articles posted by FindHG. Three unsolved cases.

Chelsea Small, 30, of Gibraltar, was shot in a robbery at an Advance America payday loan store in Taylor a year ago.

Julia Niswender of Monroe, 23, a student at Eastern Michigan University, was found dead in her off-campus apartment two years ago.

Chelsea Bruck, from Maybee, disappeared from a Halloween Party in Newport, October 25/26 this year.

The Niswinder and Bruck children attended school together, have known each other at least 10 years.

Ms. Small's mom and Julia Niswinder's mom met at a competition dart game and immediately connected. Ms. Small has two young daughters, being raised by their father now. Hopefully, surveillance video will lead to an arrest in her case.

Julia Niswinder: No surveillance video available, no sign of forced entry or theft. It is believed she was asphyxiated, then placed in the tub at her apartment and left to drown.

From MyFoxDetroit:
At first police looked at a possible connection between Bruck's disappearance and Niswender's death, but did not find one.

"Just ironic, it just happened to be," said Leandra Bruck, Chelsea Bruck's mother.

"Two years we lost Julia," said Cassandra Bruck. "I was there for Jen, now Chelsea is missing and she's there for me. It's just the weirdest coincidence that has ever happened."

All three have separate cash rewards. Crimestoppers is helping out. Rewards range from $10,000 to $52,000. Call 1-800-SPEAK-UP.

These three Moms can do a lot of good together. Here's prayers and strength sent to them. I hope they leverage the media to the max. Perhaps they should consult with a PR person/media consultant. If they can't find someone to help, they should go to the local university and see if the communications students will help them. Bet they would.....

Julia Niswender was majoring in Communications.

Speaking of media contact, has anyone found something about Chelsea on GMA - Good Morning, America - site? There's a reference to Chelsea's case having been on GMA, but I haven't found anything on the show's website or Facebook. Could the case have been mentioned on the show and only available on video? If anyone finds it, please post. Thanks.

The "find Chelsea" people have tried to contact Today Show, NBC news and ABC news and posted on their FB pages requesting coverage. I don't know specifically about GMA, but there was a post regarding the DATELINE show on the Find Chelsea FB.

Dateline links to Missing in America regarding Chelsea; Double click on each picture for the "article" that went with each page.

Thanks, Spellbound. I saw the Dateline program and posted about it here a while ago. Good Morning America is on ABC which I rarely watch. In the "posts to page" section of FCBFB, there is a comment about Chelsea's case having been shown on GMA, but I can't find anything about it on the show's website or FB. I suppose it could have been a short segment during the show and is only available on video.

I suggested to Kilen that the family contact local NBC - WDIV, Channel 4, Detroit - for assistance in getting coverage about Chelsea on the Today show.

Warmer temperatures and no precipitation in the weekend forecast, so it might be a good time for continued searches. :praying:

Thank you, bragi ! That must be it.

That appears to be a good video depicting the property where the party was, if I am not mistaken. The piles of wood/spindles must be near the bonfire area, and maybe that structure of a roof and metal poles was the tented area.

Thanks bragi!

I posted before about this...but I am still very curious to know if Julia and Chelsea hung out w/ the same group of people or had any mutual acquaintances? I believe they both attended the same high school...I am sure it is highly unlikely that Chelsea's disappearance could be related to Julia's case but I hope this connection is at least being evaluated .

Sorry...I just read the complete article...I see this was already investigated. My apologies!

No real update here, I keep forwarding stuff I haven't been hearing a whole lot back  . I keep hoping for something to happen and for their to be a break in the case but so far there hasn't really been to my knowledge. It's frustrating situation.

I know, Kilen. At this point, I would be happy for the smallest clue or tip, or some word from LE that they are following up on more tips. Something that would lead us in a direction. It must be so difficult for the family. How on earth do they make the holidays feel good? I hate the reason for it, but I am glad for the Bruck family that they have the help/support/friendship of the Niswinder and Small families to give them some guidance and people who can truly know what it is like to be in such an emotional place as this.

Spellbound, thank you for your comment, I get the sense nobody among LE will let go of this case until they have answers they need, which is part of the reason the Brucks can focus on out reach and trying to generate more information and leads. It's hopeful to see, that they're a strong family with great and growing community support to bring Chelsea Bruck home. May it happen soon.

I just don't want Chelsea's case to be forgotten. Please let Chelsea come home for Christmas.
