I think Chelsea knew the Perp, if only as a familiar face. I believe he was somewhat disguised to obfuscate his features. I believe this case is absolutely tied to the Julia Niswender murder. I absolutely 100% believe he is captured on video/pics, and believe he is being protected by others who are not speaking up. Finally, I 100% believe he will be arrested.

I think we should all take a moment and laud the Monroe County Sherriff's for their dedication and progress to date. I am continuing to surround them and the Bruck & Niswender families with prayer and love. Do not lose faith people. One thing I have come to believe is that this is bigger than just one Perp; I believe this is tied to a larger "lifestyle" that was well represented at that fated party.

How do we know that it was someone at the party.... maybe rather she was going to walk somewhere......Has this been ruled out? Maybe everyone at the party is telling the truth?

:seeya: Spellbound and FindHG - really agree with your posts directly above...

:seeya: Back at ya, OldSteve!

Roses, while I don't share the same feeling that the cases are connected, I do respect your thoughts. With Julia, I think someone followed her after finding out she had "things" he wanted (could even be a female) or jealousy situation. I believe Jennifer was more outgoing than Chelsea. If I remember correctly, Jennifer had recently won some nice prizes somewhere. So either a planned robbery or sexual desire would be my best guess. The area of her apartment is known for trouble makers. Not the complex specifically, but the general area nearby. I honestly cannot wrap my head around a connection for the two cases, even though they are friends with each other's sister.

I am still of the opinion Chelsea's abductor is not well known, but a fringe hanger-on.

Raven, there is no way to know absolutely that Chelsea did not walk away by herself, but all indications point to leaving the party area with the poster boy. The area near the party has been thoroughly searched for signs of her having walked away, searched many times ..... nothing to prove it. The most likely is that she left the parking area with someone. Not likely she hitchhiked, walked alone, or made contact with anyone else. That is really all we know.

While I remember reading that the vendor saw Chelsea and the alleged abductor together... did he talk to them when they were together?? If so, and the POI did not seem nervous or 'off'.... is it possible that he did not have any intent to harm her, was not concerned over being seen with her? I would expect if he intended to harm her he would have made a point NOT to be seen with her.
There is always ( to me ) the possibility that the man she was seen with was NOT the one she left with. Could have walked to the parking lot with her, and left while she stayed.
While WE ask " then why did he not contact the police?"- could be he did not have a good alibi for where he was after, and thought he would be arrested. Could be he does not recognize himself? Could be he does not have much recall of the evening himself? And could be if he is from some distance away, he has not even heard about it! I live about 3 hours away and only know about the case via WS.
I dont really think the 2 cases are related. Besides the coincidence of the 2 young women knowing eachother, there does not seem to be much of a connection. Someone going to a party with that many people, hoping to meet up with Chelsea and somehow have the opportunity to lure her away, her not having friends there with her, or her phone... no. If she were abducted in another manner- say getting off work... that might be a different story. While I may be wrong, i do feel it is just one of those really sad coincidences- I know 2 men who have been convicted of murdering young women... years apart... i guess a case could be made that living in the same (small ) town, both raping and murdering young women... you COULD look for connections. But there were none. Just a sad coincidence...

Thanks for adding in, cebee. Lots of good points you made.

So sad and mind boggling that someone, so many people it seems can seem to just vanish into thin air... and no one ever feels guilty enough to come forward with what they know. When will the break come for Chelsea????

In the case of Chelsea's disappearance, I think it is fear of retaliation that is holding those with knowledge from coming forward. I think there is a strong potential for this to be tied to the activities of some specific group, or cult if you will.

IMO The suspect who abducted Chelsea will probably be found before she is. I am very surprised no evidence has been turned up of her abduction.

I don't know, something about the 19 year old guy keeps niggling at me. I hope LE has dug deep on that one. I just can't shake off the notion that he does indeed know something. Maybe just hopeful thinking....

How so, in a was he there, at BM's bash, who else does he know, who else knows him kind of way?

I have a feeling he may know something too. I struggle the most with him saying he got CBs blood on him, why would he add that to his story? I mean he could have just said he helped her into a car...idk it just seemed like an odd addition to the lie. I am pretty sure he did attend BM's party.

Agree, good point - why say he got her blood on him.... perhaps he was afraid someone might have gotten a photo/video of him with blood on his shirt, I wonder, and he was trying to invent a reason why...

Yes....the blood on the shirt if a detail that he seems to be attempting to explain away..if indeed it was there. Its just too odd to pass this guy off as a crackpot. Sorry, but the hinky meter is on high alert. There is more to this...

Or could he have "helped" Chelsea after her bloody nose? I sure hope LE has that shirt, if it truly exists. If he has been charged as lying, then LE must have corroboration to back that up....?

I wondered the same thing. Nuther thing that stood out, is that this kid was said to have implied that he lied because he wanted to be 'some kind of a hero.' If he fabricated the story whole cloth, then he may have fit it to the information available to him, that he would have known to be accepted as fact. Did he?

Back home and have reread much of the current thread. How I wish there had been a major break in the case while I was away even though I might not have been able to keep up with it. Still hoping and :praying: that there will be something to discuss in the very near future. LE needs to pursue in earnest the young man with the bloody shirt.
