http://www.monroenews.com/news/2015/feb/19/volunteers-sending-chelsea-fliers-across-us/

Boxes of fliers are being sent to randomly selected hotels across the country.

Thanks for the news, Spellbound.

So the mailing production and purple ribbonmaking campaigns continue in the former bank branch. It’s been almost 12 weeks, and the family still has no clue as to what happened.

But that’s not dashing their hopes or stopping them from trying. They will continue to do whatever they can until they get answers.

The Brucks and their support system going strong. http://t.monroenews.com/photos/2015/feb/18/15935/

Still nothing? Not a single sign, not one clue? Not a dropped ivy leaf or a potential sighting? Where could this girl have gone?

I hear you, Criminal Justice mom. It is beyond my comprehension how there is not even one tiny clue or piece of evidence, a person who saw or heard something. If she is alive somewhere, there is nothing to indicate which direction to search. If not .... will Spring thaw bring answers?

I cannot not help but think..... what if this were my child? What else could I do to find her? How the family goes on each day is unfathomable. What is going to bring her home?

It is so hard to hold out hope. I credit the family with keeping that sliver of hope alive.

Yes, I believe so. I believe Mother Nature has embraced her with a blanket of snow, but will give her back in Spring. Sorry to be so grim, but I believe this will be the outcome.
And yes, the Bruck family is to be greatly admired for their strength and courage.

I hope we are wrong, rosesfromangels. Although .... the alternative is not good, either. You don't have to apologize for voicing what we have had to consider. What I want and what I believe are not always the same, and either one hurts.

Truly what I call a case of 3-no's if ever there was one. These prove to be the most difficult to solve, or solve at all, until something is found or a break occurs - gotta hope!

Yes, someone knows the POI and what happened to Chelsea. I hope someone's conscience is bothering them and that something convinces the person/s to go to LE and tell what they know. The truth will set you free...

Yes, you would think someone had to see something - has me wondering if the perp (🤬🤬🤬🤬) was simply very lucky, or instead, experienced?

I think they are afraid of what would happen to themselves if they told what they know. That crew I saw on the video clips from the PAP show that fateful night aren't exactly the Brady Bunch

Unfortunately, thugs of late have gotten better at hiding victims. I know many here are familiar with Sierra Lamar's still not being found.

It has always struck me too, as somebody who had this very well planned, then it seemed possible somebody who is getting cover from anyone else who may know of something having gone wrong. The crew, however salty, LE hasn't shown any suspicion toward BM and his crew. Maybe LE should at this point, especially that security guard that was so into her phone during the June concert. I still don't understand why she would not keep her phone with her when she had so much else in her hands. Was there somebody she may have been avoiding, as such. If so, who could that person be?

The idea that the POI is somebody who knew what they were doing and Chelsea had the bad luck to run into them and feel safe enough to walk away with them is the most compelling. When and where she went missing, at what would be last call time, in a public venue with little security and masks, makes me think she was a victim of opportunity and not so much targeted from before. I think the POI wanted to leave with somebody that night and took his chances with Chelsea.

It may be possible the POI may be familiar to BM's crew and associates on some level but that it's tough knowledge, the kind you can pretend not to know or put two and two together deliberately, to avoid. I suspect, but mostly hope somebody knows something and can be moved to share it.

Lot of good points to consider ^^
I the cases I followed over the years, so very often the perp is someone who has been at the scene, been interviewed, and/or gave information - would not surprise me here if that happens here.

ICAM. I believe the Perp is close to the core ; a known. Opinion and speculation only.

Thinking about that blanket of snow you mentioned.... now, this might be far-fetched, but in this age of droan surveillance, thinking a perp might revisit a site to check or move victim and such activity would show up as disturbed snow, foot prints... IMO droan searching in these kind of cases will increase in the future..

I wish drone searches were more common place in these type of situations. I've only heard of them being used for military purposes though. I could very well be wrong though.

I have always thought that, if you were going to hide a body, the best place would be an area that was already thoroughly searched, like a body of water that LE already used divers in. Because the odds that they would spend those type of researches again for the same area is unlikely. Just MOO obviously. I'm sure that most killers don't typically like to relocate bodies, however, for the risk factor. But I could totally see most of them returning to the burial location to "check up on things", especially if they haven't done this many times in the past.

I have a question regarding the vendor that claims to have spoke with them... Did this person say they spoke to her when she was leaving? Were they set up inside our outside the event? This was probably already answered, and if so I apologize.

Also, most timesa victim is placed in an area the perp knows - - where they feel comfortable they won't be seen, and they know it's a others don't visit. If this was a crime of opportunity, rather than well planned, lack of experience might have the perp wanting to move the victim to a more secure, more familiar place...

Others, CMIIW, I recall it was outside, when she was leaving.... making vendor last known to speak/see her...
