Detroit police are investigating after three bodies were found inside the basement of a home on Wednesday afternoon.

from the video it appears the crime scene tape is indicating the crime scene is the one to the left.

This was confusing to me too so I looked into it. From the first article, it says it happened in Detroit near the city of Ecorse.

Interesting that the neighbor's first thought was maybe a drug overdose. Suggests he may know or think his neighbor is a drug user? I wish a reporter had asked him about whether he had noticed unusual traffic to and from the residence.
