I have to ask, didn't there used to be a thing called maternal instinct? It was supposed to kick in about the time a woman had a child and consist of the basic drive to protect your child from anything that may harm them? Wasn't that how it worked?
Anyway, let me see if I am up to speed on this...please correct me if I have any of the basics wrong.
Nevaeh's father hasn't seen her for at least 3 years...supposedly.
Her mother was in jail for 11 months, during which time her grandmother was her custodian, and I am assuming still is.
Nevaeh and her mother both live with her grandmother, even though mom is 24 and should really be out on her own.
Mother has a friend/boyfriend that is an RSO (I am betting bf, the friend thing is to keep him from breaking parole.)
Mother met this bf at the parole office (that's a good sign.)
Mother's bf has a friend or roomte that is the owner of the green van that supposedly seen in the area around teh time that Nevaeh disappeared.
Do I have the basics so far?
