GUILTY MI - Ramsay Scrivo, 32, found dismembered, St Clair County, 27 Jan 2014 - #1

Court records and public documents show a couple of significant events that have taken place in the last year.

Daniel Scrivo, the husband of the suspect and father of the victim, died in May 2013 in the Rosedale home at the age of 61. A few months later, a fire took place in the Scrivo household.

Donna Scrivo resided in a hotel before moving in with her son while restoration work was underway, according to neighbors.

That same month, Donna Scrivo was in Macomb Probate Court asking to be named as guardian to Ramsay. Online records do not state why she sought the guardianship. She was made a temporary guardian but the matter was later discharged, according to court records. In September, she petitioned the court to have her son hospitalized for an undisclosed mental illness. That case was deferred.

I am so confused about their living arrangements based on so many different articles I've read (all linked in this thread somewhere)...

It's been stated that DS lived with RS because of having renovations done at her house due to a house fire... then in another article (quoted below) from The Macomb Daily, it says that RS hasn't lived at the house for 8 years... ???



So, which was it?! She was living with him since her fire, or he, himself, hasn't even lived there for 8 years?!

Such poor writing at the article linked above, the "he told her last June" (BBM) doesn't make sense either, I mean, she didn't know where he was living all those years? I'm not buying her story on why she wanted him committed, but maybe the poor writing and different media reports are just confusing me.

ETA: That Macomb Daily article also spelled Ramsay's name wrong through the entire article.

may the father died.. two days later she drug him into court the first time (missing meds in there)
so then in June he isn't doing the repairs.. does that mean to her old house since she was living in the hotel?

I think the courts missed a lot of stuff for that bit that is in the public record. No wonder the detective looked so p-o'd during her arraignment! :twocents: she had that look on her face that said she would figure it all out. (the detective that is)

We have differing accounts, depending on which articles you want to believe, on the following things that I can remember off-hand. Please add any more inconsistencies to this list...

1. Dad passed suddenly... vs. ... Dad had terminal illness.

2. RS lived at address alone until DS (his mom) had house fire and eventually moved in with him while her place was being renovated... vs. ... RS hasn't lived at the address for 8 years because he never finished renovations.

As far as rumors (SM and comments under news articles), we also have discrepancies:

1. RS suffered from anxiety, but wasn't violent and was able to live alone and hold down a job... vs. ... he was "psychotic", hospitalized for 90 days... vs. ... DS was the one who was "controlling" and had mental health issues.

Also, I've read (I'm sure it was MSM, but couldn't possibly re-locate the link) that there is still "a limb" missing, and upthread here read someone say it was an arm (to hide possible injection marks) - I haven't seen any official word on WHAT specific limb is missing, but I do believe that it's true and just not reported as to WHAT limb...

Hope this all makes sense, I tend to lurk more than post because I OBVIOUSLY babble when trying to get my point across. Sorry, gang! Keep up the good work!

I thought that DS's Mom died BEFORE her husband did... I thought her mom died in January 2013 and then her husband (RS's father) died in May 2013, and then the fire in August 2013. Maybe I misunderstood, but I've been taking notes (with actual paper and pen instead of online, wow, lol!).

When was she fired? Conflict and turmoil seem to follow this woman everywhere. I wonder how much of it is created intentionally?

This case is just gut wrenching to me. It feels like she is going to try to blame his death on his mental illness and wash her hands of her responsibility. Already some reports seem to be victim blaming, and it just turns my stomach. :furious:

Also wonder what the cause of fire was.

bump: that means after the court date if this is true (one where she tries to get guardianship in sept?)

key months seem to be May, August, September, and January. that is a a ton to happen in less than 8 months

also: don't forget that the accused reported him missing and claimed that he walked off three of four days before she was sighted with the garbage bags to her car and the garbage bag throwing/ccvid.. (and don't forget the BLEACH) I would just guesstimate he was missing way before that (re: killed way before that) she was way too calm in those ccvids after tossing him out in parts. :twocents:

I thought the husband/dad died on May 15, 2013?? Does someone have a link to the obituary? I don't know how you all sleuth things like this...
