#DonnaScrivo looks like a librarian...my my looks can be deceiving if she did what she's accused of

She looks like something far more sinister than a librarian in the picture at the link in the post below.

Really quite unnerving.

Poor Ramsay - the one person in the world he should have been able to rely on whatever else happened.

I am really lost for words that Donna is pleading not guilty. I thought she was caught on camera buying bin bags and a saw, or have I misremembered?

Cororner Describes Bags of Body Parts Found After Killing

There were seven bags of body parts, containing a dozen different specimens of Ramsay Scrivo's body.

His remains were carved away with a saw. Some had charring. Though some of his organs, including his heart, were found with his remains, his right arm was not.

That was just some of the gruesome details that came out in testimony today by Macomb County Medical Examiner Daniel Spitz during a preliminary court examination for Scrivo's mother, Donna, who accused of killing her adult son and sawing apart his body with a circular saw. His remains were left in plastic bags scattered across rural St. Clair County last January, found days after his mother reported him missing in St. Clair Shores.......

May she rot in hell

This poor guy.

Yes she was caught on Camera, evidence was removed from her home. I feel awful for the details the jury is going to have to hear. I think they will not have a hard time reaching a verdict ,but sitting though the trial is not going to be easy.

Scrivo Ordered to Stand Trial for Murder of Her Son
A 60-year-old St. Clair Shores woman’s efforts to “conceal” her son’s death is a key reason she was bound over to Macomb County Circuit Court to stand trial for his murder, a judge said Tuesday.

Donna Scrivo was ordered by Judge Mark Fratarcangelli of 40th District Court in St. Clair Shores to the higher court on charges of first-degree, premeditated murder, dismemberment of a body and failure to notify the coroner of a death in the strangulation murder of Ramsay Scrivo, 32, in his St. Clair Shores home.

Back at prelim exam for Donna Scrivo, St. Clair Shores mom accused of killing her adult son, last year. Detective Margaret Eidt testifying.

Chris Hall @challreporter · Jan 13
Eidt testified talking to Scrivo by phone re: missing report she filed on her son. Scrivo described clothes he was wearing when last seen

Chris Hall @challreporter · Jan 13
Eidt testified Scrivo did not want to go to the media to alert the her son was missing, did not give a picture of him

Chris Hall @challreporter · Jan 13
Donna Scrivo left Eidt voicemail message asking if she could go to morgue to identify body parts found in St. Clair County

Chris Hall @challreporter · Jan 13
Eidt said Scrivo told her she did not kill Ramsay.

Chris Hall @challreporter · Jan 13
Eidt testified Donna had script for 90 Xanax pills, filled in early Jan. 2014. Had 1.5 pills left during search after her son found.

Chris Hall @challreporter · Jan 13
Ramsay had Xanax intoxication as contributing cause of death. He had script for Xanax, too, but did not have it recently filled, per Eidt

Chris Hall @challreporter · Jan 13
Eidt said there were inconsistencies on when Scrivo said her son went missing. Told police Jan. 26, two others said she told them Jan. 25

Chris Hall @challreporter · Jan 13
Defense asking Eidt about man who could have left Ramsay's condo or neighboring condo around time of death. Says no evidence linking Scrivo

Chris Hall @challreporter · Jan 13
Prosecution rests. No defense witnesses

Scrivo bound over to circuit court in her adult son's murder last year on murder and mutilation charges. Arraignment in circuit Feb. 2.

She probably knocked him out with the xanax, strangled him, and then attempted to burn his corpse but realized he wasnt gonna turn to ashes. Plan B was the circular saw and trash bags.

Sorry to quote myself, but I am just now watching Part 1 of the Preliminary Hearing (linked above), because I was too tired last night to stay up and watch it after posting the links. Anyhow, I just heard that they never found his right arm!! :-o

Thanks for posting the links. Part 2 has the neighbor who witnessed her struggling to carry 3 trash bags at once to the rear passenger door of the SUV. The neighbor continues to explain how she "threw" each bag into the SUV, with bag number 2 having been a struggle. The neighbor talks so matter-of-factly. Little did she know what was in those bags. Gruesome.

A judge granted the attorney for a St. Clair Shores woman accused of killing and dismembering her son permission to hire three experts to evaluate her mental condition, review the autopsy report and interview witnesses...

Haddad gained approval for psychiatrist Dr. Gerald Shiener to provide a second opinion on Scrivo’s mental condition at the time of the incident to determine whether she knew right from wrong, a maneuver that could lead to an insanity defense. A state psychiatrist or psychologist previously determined she did understand.

Pardon my french but what a crock of shyte. Sick world when nobody takes ownership of and responsibility for their barbaric, evil actions.

Agree. I doubt the jury will be kind to her though.

A hearing is set for Friday to determine if some of Donna Scrivo's interview with police will be admitted at her trial next month in the killing and dismemberment of her adult son.

A hearing was set today after attorneys argued motions filed by Scrivo's attorney in Macomb County Circuit Court less than a month before her May 5 trial.

Donna Scrivo’s interview with police will be suppressed at her trial next month in the killing and dismemberment of her adult son, a Macomb County Circuit Court judge ruled Thursday.

Judge Richard Caretti granted a motion by her attorney, Mark Haddad, to suppress her more than two-hour-long interview. Haddad argued that Scrivo asked for an attorney four times during the interview.

Haddad said Scrivo wasn’t read her Miranda rights until 1 hour, 3 minutes into the interview with investigators. Then, four times after that, she requested legal counsel, Haddad said.

Donna Scrivo, 61, is charged with first-degree premeditated murder in the January 2014 death of her son, Ramsay Scrivo, of St. Clair Shores, as well as disinterment and mutilation of a body and removing a body without a medical examiner’s permission.

She is accused of cutting up and placing parts of the body of her son in garbage bags, then dumping them along the side of the road in St. Clair County. St. Clair Shores police said Scrivo filed a missing person’s report on Jan. 27, 2014, for her son. The department then worked with the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office after it received reports three days later of trash bags containing body parts in several locations near the border of China and St. Clair townships.
