Suppose it's possible son offed himself and mom took it upon herself to 'clean up' and dispose of the body... after reporting him missing. No clue why she might do that, but I guess it's not totally out of the spectrum of possibility? Ugh no matter how this plays out. Just.UGH.

Is it possible he may have been receiving some sort of state aid or SS checks? That might be one reason?

I have not gone back and gotten totally caught up but I did here some mention on a local news broadcast that he may have had some "Mental Issues" and the Police had been called about him before?

called about "them"

I will find the article.

I wouldn't be surprised to find out that the death of her husband is also reopened.. maybe the son knew something??? idk.. just thinking here.

Unless he gets SSI or disability, I think this was flat out Murder 1. She pretended he was missing and that she had no idea where he went. She cut him up and dumped him like bags of trash along side the road. There is no remorse in her face and she doesn't seem to have empathy. Granted we only viewed her LIVE for 5 minutes, but if she felt remorse, she should have been emotional. Instead she just sat there with dry eyes.

Female detective in court: 'We absolutely have concerns about her mental well being'

I also heard the judge say she didn't have an attorney but there was an attorney 'there' to help her with the processes of the court dates.

* The way the detective grabbed her cuffs at the end to propel her out made me think they were concerned she would take off right then.

It will be interesting to see if that 'dazed effect' is an act, or she really is that 'out there'.

Don't forget dad recently died and might have left part - or even all (via a trust via mom) of his estate and assets to the sons.

I haven't been able to find anything about the house fire, but it looks like DS's house is registered as the address for a business RS established in 2010. I'm wondering why he wouldn't have used his own address? Unless he still lived with DS at the time?

I'm just wondering if this may tie into the house fire/insurance money, etc. at all. Probably grasping at straws. I can't actually figure out anywhere what exactly it is that Sharp Services does, but apparently RS was the only listed employee.

for all intents and purposes she could have also been up to something in may

all of her filings were dismissed and they came right on the heels of the death of her husband and the house fire

(also the part about the past family problems is at the end of this article)

Well, here's some new info. Lots here about RS's mental health, etc.

http://www.freep.com/article/20140203/NEWS05/302030043/Mom-charged-in-killing-dismemberment-of-son

His father’s terminal illness and death had a dramatic impact on Ramsay Scrivo, who was diagnosed with psychosis and threatened to hang himself when his father died.

His mother, Donna Scrivo, a registered nurse, was granted guardianship of her Ramsay, who a doctor listed as paranoid, delusional and suicidal.

According to records, Ramsay, on probation out of 40th District Court for assault, refused to take his medications and had paranoia and depression. His anger, according to a court file, “had escalated to unsafe levels and has threatened to commit suicide.”

wow~! judge says that there are investigations of other possible criminal acts around 4:28
Reviewing the video, it appears they have only formally charged her with mutilating and removing the body from the scene. The other possible criminal acts could be pending murder/manslaughter charges. ;)

yes, but I am not sure about that as it was stated right after discussing her criminal history?

They could be assuming he has mental issues because she put him in for evaluation. It doesn't necessarily mean he actually does. MOO

I noticed that! I thought 'ow' and then i remembered what she's done.

I thought the judge spoke too nicely to her, IMOO

Never mind. Just read the article that was posted stating he was diagnosed with psychosis and threatened to hang himself when his father died.
