She actually filed a case to have Ramsay committed to a hospital on 5-16-2013 the next day after her husband died. Then on 5-17-2013 filed for guardianship. She wasted no time.

ST. CLAIR SHORES, MICHIGAN -- In response to an emergency motion by the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office, a district judge increased the bond Tuesday on Donna Scrivo to $250,000 cash.

The judge ruled Tuesday that Scrivo had not been truthful to the court during her arraignment, when she represented financial indigence and requested court-appointed counsel. It was disclosed during today's hearing that Scrivo owns a home in St. Clair Shores valued at approximately $150,000, received two insurance payments this past summer totaling $175,000, owns a 2012 Ford Escape valued at $19,000, and withdrew $8100 from her bank four days prior to her arrest.

Ramsay was likely killed 4 days prior to his body being found. Looks like mommy dearest was planning to take off. Now we know why she's considered a flight risk. Where's the 8 grand at?

Whoa I missed this!!!

Per the house: Michigan (most importantly, near Detroit) is experiencing a financial crisis for the last decade. I bought a house in Detroit (I do not live there, I rent it) for 15,000 over the summer. 4,300 sq ft victorian. That's how bad the market is there. I rent it to a family for 550 a month.

Anyway, back to retail fraud - I'm too lazy to google - can you link? I'm very interested in seeing what this means. I honestly have no idea what would make something retail fraud. Is that like taking things back after you steal them?

1989-2004 - DS works part time as RN at St. John Hospital until fired (after claims re: two medication errors); DS allowed to collect unemployment after Board of Review determines claims not proven [8]

?2005 or 2006 - RS purchases condominium on Gary Lane, but “never lived there” due to failure to complete renovation projects, must accept money from parents to pay half of living expenses and has difficulty paying bills [8]

• Note: Article states RS purchased condo “eight years ago” but unclear if this is as of time of article or as of time of report filed in 2013.

2013/Jan/28 - DS’s mother MY passes away, aged 82 [1]

2013/May/15- DS’s husband passes away, aged 61, RS admitted to psychiatric floor of St. John Hospital after morphine in the home found missing and RS “difficult to wake up” [2,8]

• Note: Mr. S. “passed away after terminal illness” according to [3], other comments on FB and below several articles state after sudden heart attack or other condition

2013/May/17 - DS files mentally ill petition for hospitalization of RS, RS agrees to hospitalization, DS granted guardianship - ?until what date [3,8]

• Note: “a few days later [after death of Mr. S]” per [3], May 17th per [8]

2013/June - RS indicates he will petition the court to terminate guardianship in 6 months and plans to cooperate with treatment (including meds and following DS’s rules) [3]

2013/July/31 - Fire at Rosedale house, DS and RS were both home (per Fire Marshall's report, although DS told police no one was home at the time) - ? faulty water heater vs. intentionally set - note that water heater close to where RS slept [12,13]

2013/Summer - DS receives 2 insurance payments totaling $175,000 [10]

2013/Sept - RS believes someone has implanted speaker in his tooth and removes a crown to remove speaker; another petition for hospitalization filed in probate court; RS diagnosed with psychosis/paranoia; petition dismissed because RS discharged from hospital [3]

2014/Jan/26 - RS reported missing by DS, states he has been missing about a day [3]

2014/Jan/31 - Another bag found, victim identified through fingerprints, St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office release photos of POI, suspect in custody (not yet identified as DS, but identified as victim’s mother), search warrants executed on Rosedale and Gary Lane homes [5,6]

2014/Feb/1 - DS rushed to local hospital complaining of pain and talking about hurting herself, housed in mental health ward upon return [10]

2014/Feb/2 - DS and RS identified in MSM, first (?only) family statement from aunt CS - “we are grieving a terrible, terrible loss” [7]

2014/Feb/3 - DS arraigned, charged with disinterment and mutilation of a body, held on $100,000 bond, DS’s 60th birthday [3,8]

• Note: no family members present at arraignment, also noted in court that DS does not yet officially have a lawyer
