December 15th thread - ST8 says-

things were done to MY
dog left tracks over the house
Hubbie works with an immediate family member - MYs side

oh my :(

sooo, the dog WAS inside the house roaming around when Meredith got there, "freaking out"....(if we want to believe ST8, of course)

hmmm, thinking......you know, it was reported that investigators first thought there had been a sexual assault, then nothing else was mentioned, so i assumed they ruled that out.....maybe upon looking at her, AT FIRST, they thought she had been sexually assaulted.....ok, this is going to sound really bad, but maybe she had been cut in her, you know, private area???...would that be considered a "sexual assault"????

Wow Close, can you believe our Charlie remembering her nik like that! I am impressed, and of course remember it now! Baa HaHaHAHa Hee Hee
Not that it matters, but my first thought when I heard Meredith couldn't roll Michelle over was one arm was kind of stuck behind her and being very cold and stiff, she was in or close to full rigor mortis. She would be difficult to maneuver I would think in trying to move her to either side.

I wonder why he had that knife out inside the SUV. $119, it is a neat little knife I guess, but if he killed Michelle, I don't think he would keep a knife in his car he had used on her. If I had been in his shoes I would have been totally paranoid, thinking if I left something or made a mistake, they could swarm on me at any time.

YES, & i forgot to add that to my last post....THANKS, RC:)
....impressed here also!

I think the post from ctv you're talking about and I don't remember the poster name but she actually said that her husband works with Michele's father. Her husband didn't want to ask intrusive questions and MY's father gave a detailed description to him of what had been done to Michele. That poster would not say what that was and said that noone should have to die that way. There was a reference to unordinary or unusual by her but it was also after RPD said there were 10 blows to the head and it was an extreme overkill which is why I think the unusual part the lady meant could fall in line with just the 10 blows and how and what she was hit with that caused her tooth or teeth to fly out after being hit in the back of the head. That poster was new and not a forum member or true crime follower like us so her assessment of unordinary could be very different from ours imo.

I did hear Meredith gasp on that tape as she tried to turn the body over, and she said something brief, like Oh no!

I am known here as being very gullible :D , but I somehow do believe this poster and think somethink was done to Michelle that could have named the killer as not being a random one. We don't know much about his personality except he was a late bloomer.
That would be so stupid of him to mark her body in any way after killing her.

And if this was done, I think it rules out a hit 'friend', as how could one say I want you to murder her and then do this to her. Don't think so!

It could be though he wanted to make sure the baby was dead. There have been so many stories about how mothers have been brain dead, their hearts still beating and they can still take the baby who has a good chance of living. Last year we had a case here like that.

yeah, i took it that because Michelle was stiff, it was hard to move her, but you're right...that, along with her maybe being in a funny position would have made it very hard to actually roll her over......

i would think he'd be crazy to have held on to that knife, IF he used it during the murder, but gosh ya just never know i suppose...hmmm

I don't think he used that knife Close, but when a guy likes knives, he usually has several of them. They are kind of a collectable, each one for it's own purpose.

scandi, we're on the same wave-length here.....i thought the very same thing....it's very possible that Meredith WAS able to get her over to a point, saw something, then released Michelle back to the original position....she said that MY was cold & stiff more than once...well, "cold" more than once & it was like the last time she said it, the dispatcher was like...ok, ok, don't do anything then.....

you could be right too about him wanting to make sure the baby was dead too, but it could also be that the perp (JY, imo) might have wanted to make it appear as if some crazed psycho did this...maybe it was 'overkill' on purpose??..am i making sense?

Close, both were posted on ctv by so-called insiders. One had said she was found nude and that's why LE originally thought it was a sexual assault. Nothing at all ever released by LE or the media about that, many of us tried to verify that and couldn't. The other was that she was only wearing a top. Oh yeah and another also said she was in sweats.

I did watch it Sami - can't believe some of what I heard. She had on Rob Wheeler a former DC investigator- before I go into detail let me say I'm not at all sure whether he was up to speed so to speak.

First he spoke about the blood drops and how as an investigator this would raise a flag since the husband said he was out of town. Then he made a comment about supposedly JY drove the vehicle to the airport - therefore there is no reason for blood drops to be on the vehicle.

Then he spoke about all the emails and phone calls and by now LE would have all of those defined and they are important as the warrants for some read to corroborate witness statements and other collecte devidence. Yes the affair with sorority sister three months before also raises a flag.

Not much else - just the same stuff we know - no mention of the hotel receipts - gas receipts etc. I am going to check United Airlines however as the first warrant does list that an airline ticket for JY was collected at the house.

Nothing new except the mention of the airport - as I said - I'm not sure he knows exactly what the hey he is talking about.

ETA - also that as time progresses and the police get closer - either JY will attempt to run or turn himself in (yea right !). He also believes there will be an arrest soon...hmmm - me thinks he knows squat to be honest.

Thanks Strach for your input, and yes Close, I think we are on the same track here. I somehow missed any posts on what she was wearing. Just rereading Smoketree's posts, she stated she thought Michelle was in bed sleeping when she was attacked. I gave up reading all her posts {22} as the Lineup is on and Kimberly just started talking about Michelle's case.

The black TH, an investigator from DC, but not Ted form Greta  , gave me the distinct impression that LE has a lot of info on this guy.
When he started rambling thru it, the 3 month every day contact with MM, the fact LE thought emails on the laptop could be used to name the killer, etc, I thought, wow, we are maybe being too critical about the progress of this case.

I was surprised this cop thought the fact emails were mentioned meant they had to be telling to the case of who murdered her. I thought they generalize on these forms a lot, and the paragraph that states we ask for this warrant because we believe examination of them will help name the killer. That is just a round-about way of my saying it. That is printed on every search warrant I think as a closing paragraph. Maybe he was telling MM how angry he was with Michelle and he wished she were dead or something.

Sami, you're lucky you have 6 pages on the SW. Charlie has 5. I wish we had the SW's in our links thread. NO has taken their link to them away. I am dying to see what was on pages 5 & 6.

Do you think maybe MM could be implicated in the murder?

Oh, he also said JY drove his car to the airport. I had never heard that! I think he was wrong, but then, I don't know.

Here's the best Porco link I could find: http://timesunion.com/specialreports/porco/

I think idea is that the frontal lobe controls emotions and that was completely damaged, but the lobes in the back of the brain were functioning, and they control gross motor control. The part of the brain that controls breathing is in the middle of the brain. It seems to me that Peter just bled out.

People that are on the road quite a bit have all sorts of odd things that they travel with like a shovel, knife, jerry can, blanket ... I don't know. I don't think too much about a knife but if it was used, the police will know.

i clicked on this link....very interesting Otto.....will be reading more of this ..... from what little i've read, it looks like the mother told LE that her son did this, THEN turned around later & said he didn't?.....

anyway, w/o getting tooooo O/T here....interesting reading for sure...thanks for posting this

thanks for this info RC.....the airport thing is weird :waitasec:

maybe we're going to hear of an arrest this week.....

May be he was gonna skip town but decided to go to mommies instead........or he could've been smuggling, in or out, a bag o money.

ya da da da

Yea, what is the deal with the airport. The word has never been used in this case. He had to have heard it somewhere, right?

I thought after murdering someone in that fashion the killer would be exhausted too, worked up on adrenalin, and then might fade soon after it was over. But he has gas receipts that are date timely. Why do you think the airport comment is interesting Sami?
