I see that someone already answered this with "coveralls", but I was also thinking that if this is Jason who committed the murder, he might have gotten hold of some hospital scrubs or something used in the medical field, since his job may have taken him to hospitals/doctors offices? Or maybe he had some water repellent clothing? (That would be if this crime had been planned in advance.)

...........or you place all your bloodied clothes in a big Hefty bag, drop it off at one of hundreds of trash bins you pass on your way to your hotel hundreds of miles away.

Someone else mentioned the Robb case. He got rid of his clothes and he was in town. He even got rid of the murder weapon. (but it's believed it was a tool from the garage as there's an empty space where all the tools are hung in a row on the wall)

IF JY did this crime, IMHO, he won't get away with it. Look at March, it took them 10 years, but they got their man. Sometimes it just takes a little longer to put all the pieces of the puzzle together. Once all the missing links are found, the perp is toast!

I agree, fran. Since this happened in his own home, he could easily have changed clothes and shoes after the fact, and dumped them in a dumpster somewhere along the way, and only he would know what clothes/shoes he was "missing". They never did find the weapon Simpson used or the clothes he wore either. I'm also sure that LE will make an arrest and get a conviction when they have what they need to do so.

With so many of these case we do get frustrated because with what we've seen we're fairly certain we KNOW who did it. The problem is LE needs enough evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt, to twelve jurors, that this guy is guilty. IF whatever they have right now isn't enough that a def lawyer can't find a 'reasonable excuse,' LE won't want to arrest him.

There's this one case right now, can't remember too much about it right now except that LE thought they knew who did it. They finally got, what they thought was enough to convict, and arrested and tried him. Even then it was years after the crime.

Well, there was ONE key piece of evidence that was missing and LE had looked high and low for it, but could never find it. But,............they finally thought they had enough and the guy stood trial. Well, he was found innocent.

Some time later, the people who'd purchased the perps former home were having carpeting put in and the carpet layers found a 'hiding place' under the carpet in a hallway. You got it right,..........the ABSOLUTE PROOF that the guy did it was found. (I believe it was pictures of him actually abusing and killing his victim) But...............DOUBLE JEOPRADY..............applies here. The guy is free today.

Sickening isn't it?

That's why we just have to be patient and hope there's at least one or two detectives who won't let this case go until it's solved and the RIGHT person is put behind bars.

Yes, that was truly a heartbreaking case and the State even had an eye witness but because she was a loose type woman the jury didn't believe her when she told them she had seen him murder his girlfriend and tape it.

I believe his name was Meldonado or something like that. They did get him on perjury charges but he only got a couple of years in the Federal prison.

IMO

Hi Ocean,

We should all remember this guys name. The rate of recitivism has got to be very high for a guy like this and the crime he committed.

Don't you wish everyone like this guy would have a mark on him that everyone would recognize so people could be wary and stay safe?

Kind of an 'Animal Farm' justice for violent and sick pervs!

Why aren't they interviewing hotels,or motels.Cell phone tower records.gas stations..why not interview JY with or without his attorney & videotape ...so they have body language, mannerisms, inconsistencies on tape. ??? Its really a stretch to beleive some vagrant wandering by did this horrible mutilation to this young vibrant woman & no one saw anything different!!
