Well I definitely think there may be some truth to this ransacked closet if we are to believe that 2 jewellry box drawers were missing. Because of this many of us figured jy had tried to stage a robbery.

OTOH, LE said nothing was missing so perhaps Meredith was able to account for all their jewellry. She did live with them afterall.

It seems to me a murderer would try to stage a robbery but I can't see LE not saying that something was missing.

I don't know what to think anymore!!

Nor do I know what to think anymore. But, my gut feeling tells me that reports of missing jewelry are a red herring. Along with the *ransacked*closet .

Howdy,

It could be that the jewelry and closet are distractions meant to take us away from our main objective. But the important question is, who wants to lead us astray?

Who cares if he had a messy closet. It is not a distraction, it just shows that the lack of information in this case has lead to discussing anything at all in painful detail.

On the other hand, the "missing jewelry drawers" story has only been advanced by JTF,gojo /Jake and one of JY's friends that was in the house the first day with JTF. Is the JY Camp leading us astray ? Or did Jason take the drawers with him to make the murder appear to be a burglary gone bad ? It is one of these 2 scenarios.

One other possibility is that LE took the jewelry as evidence. IMO JTF nor Gojo or whoever would not know that. At any rate LE has not publicly said anything was missing, just the opposite.

Well Jake - JTF posted about the jewelry and you were the source of the ransacked closet - so I think you have your answer if you study on it for a bit.

Howdy,

I think you are wrong. I think there are other options.

1. The killer took the jewelry.

2. The police impounded the jewelry.

3. A family member took the jewelry.

4. The jewelry was given to Jason's attorney.

There must be other options. But I believe I will go to bed.

Good night all.

Howdy,

I don't remember JTF's post. I responded to a question from a poster. Track down that poster and you'll find the guilty bird.

JMO of course.

Lookin at him right now Jake. we have learned from you - copy everything because it will go poof. The rest of us remember those posts very well. I'm sorry you do not. Can't provide you a link because the authors requested of the moderators at those boards to delete their posts. Sorry about that as well.

It's funny though because the jy team jumped right on this jewellry obviously to take the heat off JY suggesting that it was a burglary gone bad. But then they told us the drawers were missing and most of us scoffed at that thinking what burglar is going to take the drawers. It ended up many of us thought that JY had staged the thing which completely defeated their purpose.

You got that right! lol

Hello Bee Charmer,

Quite a while back, and sorry I can't link you to the post as the author has had it deleted, someone posted that JYs closet had been ransacked ( I do have a copy of the post) and I wondered why the wording "Jason's closet". This wording tends to indicate one of two things - either there are two closets, or the author simply believes everything in the house belongs to no one but Jason.

SNIPPED+++++++++++++++++++

I believe everything in the house does belong to Jason.

--Jake
before the murder? certainly not.
after the murder? no.

what about Cassidy's things?
what about things that Michelle had borrowed from her sister, mother or a friend?

what about things that michelle brought into the marriage and are listed
in her will to be given to someone in the event of her death?

imo

Howdy,

It stands to reason valuable jewelry would not be overlooked. But maybe you can tell all of us why Jason would steal his own jewelry? Whoops, maybe I can answer my own question: maybe Michelle willed the jewelry to her sister or mother?

--Jake

i don't thinking jay was stealing his "own" jewelry, he was stealing his wife's jewelry. maybe he, like, you thought that everything in that house belonged to him and he was going to take it.

michelle might have discovered a piece missing and then started frantically searching through the drawers of the jewelry box in jay's closet to find it or see if other pieces were missing.

she might have discovered that he was pawning her jewelry to pay off gambling debts or to buy gifts for his various paramours.

michelle might have ransaked jay's closet herself, looking for evidence of his affairs after she discovered something incriminating on the computer (including the Coach bag for Michelle Money).

she might have been in the middle of ripping all of his clothes out of the closet to throw him and them out to the curb.

she might have felt a pain in her womb because of the stress and needed to lie down.

if the fight started downstairs, she might have run to jay's closet to find a gun that was kept there to use to defend herself.
was there a gun cabinet in jay's closet? or the gun might have been in a box on a shelf somewhere inside of the closet.

michelle could have been looking for love letters written to MM, digital cameras or something to provide evidence of an affair.

one sign of a cheating spouse is new underwear. michelle could have been looking to see if jay had bought new underwear or had a stash of condoms or sex toys in this closet.

Howdy,

Well, you can just color him stupid, then. Or forgetful, maybe. I see your point.

frantic and bloody.

Howdy, Tennessee,

Actually, I proposed that very thing, or even arranging an email of photos. But the Young family vetoed the idea. They feel that would be a little too personal.

--Jake

we aren't asking to see the one of pat in her bathing suit,
just the birchleaf ones.

Lets not leave this all on Jake, there is a whole list of characters who have done exactly the same thing.

JTF - the screaming whinning fits about the press (someone remind me again how much this case has been in the news), the accusations of Meredith even the theft of jewelry by LF - you name it, JTF made the accusation as long as Jason wasn't included. Problem is the stories changed every time new information came out.

Then lets see - remember the oh so honorable gojo who declared he would not answer posts unless you followed his rules - and then how many gojos were there 3, 4, heck I lost count. And then his vile excuses for why he decided to relay the fact that MM was pregnant - that was really the low point for gojo and mates.

Then there is Johngo - lots of changing stories and accusations there as well with nothing to back it up - no search warrants naming possible other suspects, nothing.

Then there is DKJ who claims he knows nothing but yet expects you to believe every word he says. Heck he even has conversations with magistrates - he's gotta know what is happening - right?

So lets not blame Jake for all the crazy stuff - he is not alone.

okay, jake's just responsible for 51% of the crazy stuff.

jtf=49%
all the jakes + one beverly (gojo#2) =51%

Hi, I'm a new poster. I have some nice jewelry , have a jewelry drawer in a closet , and a small jewelry box on my dresser. Guess I'm a bit clueless but I don't spend any time thinking about someone coming in my house and taking things .

As for the *ransacked* closet... I think we should take it with a grain of salt , considering the source. For all we know the husband could have been a slob.

I invested money in having those California Closets done. Mine is neat and my husband's looks like the Trailways Bus station. I even had a little drawer installed for his dry cleaning , and it still ends up on the floor.

Have we even heard, factually, that there is any jewelry missing? I can't always keep up with all these things floating around out here

No - have seen nothing in print, no reference on SWs and definitely no remarks by LE. JY never went in that house with LE in an effort to determine if anything was stolen. Any claim that it was stolen, is just that - a claim without any foundation.
