Have you ever heard of uncontrollable rage? Or uncontrollable anger?

Now you're talking about manslaughter instead of murder. But yes, I have heard of it.

I used to believe that way also. But the more I read and learn of other cases, the less I trust in the integrity of LE.

The most recent example if the Duke lacrosse case. Surely you agree the DA showed a total lack of integrity in an attempt to railroad those boys.

Recently I read two books about cases in Oklahoma in which the DA showed a total lack of integrity in sending men to the death chamber.

I know nothing about the Wake County DA and LE. Possibly Jason can trust them. But he isn't willing to put his freedom and his life in jeopardy by trusting them. Neither would I.

Does Jason call LE and ask how the case is going? Is he actively seeking justice for his murdered wife? I know that if my wife was murdered I would sit at the door of LE until they gave me answers. I would not be able to go on with my life until I had those answers. And I would do anything to help LE solve this case, even if it meant "my freedom was in jeopardy" It should not matter if he is innocent.

That is so true and it's so ironic because they wouldn't be where they are without the woman helping them get there!
It is sad and you ask when will they learn. I think the only thing these guys are learning is the mistakes the murderers are making. Look at this guy - he turns off his cell phone so as to not be traced. Unfortunately, I think we're going to see alot more of these murders.

Turns off his cell phone? When was this? How do you know of it?

Wrong! All 3 of them willingly submitted their DNA. There was no need for an NTIO to be issued. They were innocent. Jason Young is not, in my opinion. That's the difference.
This is what cleared them. Because they cooperated through their lawyer.

Don't know who Jason has called.

But I understand your sentiments. I reckon I'm more old-fashioned than you, though. I would be trying to hunt down the killer myself. I would not rely on LE to do it. Some people call that revenge, but I would call it justice.

When I found the killer, I imagine I would be the one in jail. I would not turn him over to LE.

Each person reacts differently.

PFFT!

Manslaughter will NEVER be on the table, IMNSAO. We are looking at some serious prison time.

I don't even know Beth Holt personally, but you can take that to the BANK!

Jake, I am new to this thread. I follow Janet Abaroa's thread. She was very dear to me. I began to look at this thread because the cases are so similiar. When Michelle was first murdered I thought LE would solve this case quickly and that an arrest would soon follow. I seems that not unlike Janet's case, that is not to be. It seems that you defend Jason while most everyone else thinks he is guilty. I must admit I lean towards guilty. Please explain what makes you defend Jason, if you do not know who he has called regarding solving Michelle's murder.

Hi BirdHunter,

Your wife is a lucky lady, so is my husband. I feel EXACTLY the same way.

You and I would actually want to know who ruined our lives.

Not Jason tho, nope not him. Apparently he couldn't care less.

Hmm, wonder why he doesn't want to "talk to" or "help" the WCSD find the culprit. DOH!

Not me. I was just reacting to what nomimi suggested. I don't believe this is a case of manslaughter.

Hi, BirdHunter, welcome to the board.

I am a friend of Jason and his family. I defend Jason because I know him and cannot believe he is guilty of beating his wife to death.

Jason's lawyer has advised him not to talk about the case, even among friends and family. So the fact that I don't know who he has called has nothing to do with my belief in Jason.

Is that what Mr Smith is gonna go for is manslaughter? He won't last in prison anyhow. In fact, that's probably a much more deserving way for him to be punished. Good thinking.

Nope. I disagree with you. I believe the killer will go down for murder, not manslaughter.

That's what worries me about Jason Young having custody of little Cassidy. He feels the need to be the center of attention, so where does that leave her?

His sister, his mother...(and since I can't see him living in Brevard for long) - nannys?

So, is Jason actively trying to find the murderer on his own? You were part of his upbringing, so I'm sure that's what he's doing, right? TIA

Good Luck on getting an answer BirdHunter! He's been asked numerous times, but has yet to give an answer.

Thanks Jake. By the way. I only hunt one bird, Raven Abaroa. It seems Jason has a good friend in you. That he deserves such a friend is up for debate. I hope you are right about your friend. Do you know if Jason has taken a lie detector test? Taking one and passing it would give you more leverage in your support of him.

Guess what Jake? No friends & family of convicted murderers ever thought THEY were capable either. Just because you knew him, as a child, does not mean you know what he is capable of NOW...

I think not. Each person reacts differently. Or did I say that already?

I can accept Jake's answer that he is a friend of Jasons and can't see his friend as a cold blooded murderer. We should all have such loyal friends, even if we don't deserve them.

Nope, no lie detector. He doesn't need leverage for a friend to support him.
