Bellgardin,Bellgardin said:Raisincharlie, I went back through and read about the insurance papers and wills. There is no real way to know what they thought was suspicious towards JY regarding the insurance unless they just come out with it. But, I had this thought-what if she recently changed the beneficiary to someone else, besides JY? Cassidy or perhaps her mom and/or dad or sister? Maybe she knew about the affair earlier than we know and she just confronted JY the night of her murder (which is what I think happened). Either that, or perhaps he was going to miraculously come up with a signed bene agreement changing the bene to him? Or maybe he forged her name on a beneficiary agreement, I don't know. I hate all these cryptic clues, and I'm nosy anyway, so I like to know everything!
Anyway, this is a high profile case, and even if the ins. co. didn't have any idea who MY is-I guarantee they do know!!! The insurance company would have looked at this claim VERY closely anway because of the amount. They won't pay $1Mil tax free to just anyone. Especially if that person is a suspect.
Regarding post #296, if Cassidy is the primary bene, the only holdup would be who is going to be court appointed to be her guardian for the $1mill. Again, it's not going to be able to paid out directly to her because she's a minor. And if he's a suspect in MY's murder, the judge may not want to appoint him as her guardian and give him access to those funds that legally he cannot have access to if he was responsible for her murder.
I hope this helps. Any other questions???

I find your responses greatly appreciated - I have to tell you I am wondering if it wasn't MY who changed her insurance policy. I recall early in the case that LE went back and took another look at an accident that occurred in May. My was pregnant at that time and lost the baby shortly after that wreck but became pretty much immediately pregnant again. It's got me studying and thinking if MY did indeed know something was going on and may well have adjusted and confronted. Perhaps my imagination is also running rampant but there is a possibility.
There is also the possibility if MY changed things and JY found out, he may have tried to change things back, he might have gotten extremely angry, this could be a two way street. Your explainations and insight IMO open many doors that perhaps we hadn't thought about - so I for one sincerely thank you for the information. More to study on. Since you have seen so many things perhaps you have some more theoreticals we could think about.
Appreciate the food for thought BellGardin - amazing.
