The neighbors reported that Christine (the wife) was also helping to paint the inside of the house. They are looking for additional confirmation.

giving her the benefit of the doubt, maybe he cleaned up enough to not see the blood but knew luminol would still show it if he was searched. He '"suggested" that they paint and let her choose the color thinking the paint would make luminol useless....???

It does not make sense for Maria to buy a bus ticket at 8 1/2 months pregnant to a place she has no apparent connection to. Bus stations are so rinky dink and scary IMO, sometimes nothing more than a shack with someone behind a bullet proof glass. And I don't recall ever seeing any kind of surveillance cameras. I'm thinking Maria was abducted much earlier than the but station sighting. From that point on, it was all crime staging. The bus ticket, the note to the roomate, the car being left in the parking lot, the ATM withdrawal, the Wester Union wires, and the debit card being being dumped at the bus station and Cesar being spotted there at the same time.

We know he had her car that first week. Then it is conveniently found next to or near the bus station (a week later). What a coincidence since no one knew about the bus station ticket purchase at that time and it hadn't been released right?

It really seems funny that we have not had any information about the wife. No sightings by news crews. Nothing. If she is free to come and go as she pleases according to LE then why has no one seen her. I would think that one of the many news programs would have found something. Do you think she is in custody for what every reason. Protective custody?

OMG if I had been at that party I would feel so bad for not realizing something had happened. Plus if they had a bonfire at the party, ugh, I can't even think about it.

i wonder if they have checked her medical records - they usually ask @ your first appt who the father is ?? i know mine they asked me if my husband was the father of the baby - i said i hope the hell so!!! i wonder if she confided anytyhing to her doc/nurse?? BUT then again, probably military....

Maria's father is alive and is an Air Force Reserve master sergeant in the 87th Aerial Port Squadron, which is part of the 445th Airlift
Wing at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

I haven't seen any quotes from him.

Nope, you heard that right. I posted it as I heard on Fox from a "in the field" reporter talking to Shep and the lady news anchor that has the hour before him....I can't remember her name...but yeah, I've heard that twice today on the tele.

I am wondering WHO ordered Maria's room mate to be GONE during this critical time? Wonder when the orders for the room mate were DONE and how soon after HE was sent away?????????

IS this part of a coverup for Cpl ?

I am also wondering IF IF Cpl has a friend from basic training OR OR any kind of CLOSE friend, who might be in the Shreveport LA area?

Camper, I don't know if anyone has posted a reply to this, I'm jsut now trying to catch up and skipped threads and posts since late last night til this thread.

Your post brought an conspiracy theory idea. Being Maria and Laurean worked in the military personnel dept. HELLO! Isn;t that what personnel does, type up, get orders, take order, place orders, file, see their carried out etc... I could easily see and imagine Laurean and someone or persons being involved in a cover up conspiracy to have this Durham roomate gone and out of the way to carry out this crime.

It should surface how, and when these orders of being transfered came about. I would like to know the answer to this myself. And I won't be taking just one persons answer, it would have to be analyzed and a credible person saying so. Wow, paperwork makes the world go round. Take and receive a bribe to get out of transfers or get transfers, I could see that happening with mediocre paid employees that would work in the personnel dept. That's where all the shifting is done.

It is awfully convenient he was gone, but then again his absence might be one of the mitigating factors as to when it did happen. Less interference.

Just a thought, but it needs to be looked into. So many parts of this case need looking and probing into much much deeper. As I've stated much, I believe ole Christina is the mastermind of this wholeeeeeeeee crime. He could not have done or gotten by with all of this on his own. No way. Plus we've found out he didn't attend work on Thursday of last week, soooooooo

My main point is Cesar had Maria's car that whole first week Maria was missing. Then the car shows up a week later at the bus station or next to it. Now how did he know to leave her car there when no one knew about the bus ticket? He bought it himself, or found it on Maria. I still think he bought the ticket himself or had someone do it for him.
