Does it really matter?
It doesn't matter at all, and in fact, it just helps the real perps.

Worsham said it himself, and opinion of Worsham aside, he's right:

1. A transient
2. Someone in the Levitt background

I haven’t seen any follow up on that but it makes me doubt Janelle’s claim that Stacy being with Suzie that night was a freak situation. Why would anyone be concerned for the safety of a “sort of” friend’s mom? I believe Stacy and Suzie and possibly Sherrill spent more time together than people, especially Janelle, wanted to admit. Stacy might’ve admired Sherrill and Suzie’s relationship. Janelle could’ve easily felt left out and jealous, and though I don’t think anyone would kill over that, it could’ve made a teenage girl easier to manipulate.

Ah, I see what you mean. I think. It's late and I'm thick headed....Which was manipulated and which one was the manipulateed? (new word, ha).
I'm thinking Suzie was easily manipulated by Janelle?
And yes on the Janelle could've felt jealous.
Stacy and Suzie were gorgeous girls.

A decade+ of Websleuths's posts and we're still discussing a one-off comment a child in grief said to a swarm of reporters.

Good grief (no pun intended). You guys were repeating this same thing 10 years ago and moved nowhere.

I apologize for sounding snarky about this, this will be my last comment on the posts themselves, but I beg you guys who subscribe to this, to prove it or at least show me something beyond initial guilt. Something else on top of it. Any connections to a weapon or body location, SOMETHING.

Thanks
And why are we still discussing? Because it doesn’t make sense. But I defended them previously. There are many explanations for odd behavior that day. Most are probably red herrings and have no relevance. Somewhere there is truth.

  • #484
They were hungover and didn’t want to discuss particulars with parents or cops. No one had been around a situation of this magnitude. They were freaked out. It makes sense, and I get why Janis was at Sherrill’s but what were all of those other people doing? They weren’t Sherrill’s friends. Their daughters weren’t missing. I get watching police process a house from a sidewalk isn’t every day. The rest does makes no sense.

19 years of age is not a child when i last checked.

Why would anybody on this forum have any idea of a body location, we are not LE here and even they obviously couldn’t come up with one.

Does it really matter?
well I assumed all sleuthers enjoyed seeking clarity to confusion don't they?
especially when it is right there in front of you at the click of a button ;)

Oh and for body location here you go!

The Mark Twain forest makes as much sense to me as anywhere else.

I’m sure if you want over that forest for 5 years with a fine tooth comb you would find some bodies even if it’s unlated to the Springfield 3. It seems like a good place to get rid of bodies to never be found.

I also can’t be proved wrong unless somebody is willing to go though that entire forest step by step.

IMO

its not a one off comment.
its an accumulation actions words behaviours and they are part of the narrative because they were last known people to see them and the first to contaminate the crimescene.

these are the facts.

that's why they are discussed and they are important. do they tell us Janelle killed the girls.... no.

please stop dictating to posters about what they can and can not discuss.
sillybilly has already been here today.....and will shut the thread down if bickering continues. or is that the agenda?

how about instead of critisising posters constantly, you bring an alternative discussion? but please provide connections to a weapon.....or body location ….you must prove it....( your own words) after all.

Bingo :)

Janelle’s behaviour is brought up a lot because her behaviour defies logic that day. I also find it ironic that Janelle’s mum of all people happened to wake up just in time for her to hear Suzie speaking to Stacey about following her home. Most of the timeline hinges on Janelle, she is the narrative here so we are allowed to be suspicious of her.

The mods have not shut down this line of enquiry either so I’m guessing we can discuss her.

If some posters don’t like what we saying then ignore the posts and discuss your own line of enquiries.

It’s possible Janelle was told to say certain things to the public.

With Asher in her back pocket...

Let me get this straight... it's possible Asher told Janelle to say certain things to the public.
What do you think those certain things consisted of?
You think Janelle had Asher in her pocket.
How so?

I'm confused.

If I can put in my $0.02 it would be this.

Every minute we spend talking about the “other girl” and the like only plays into the hands of the perp.

IMO, and it is an opinion the real perp has raised the issue if the “other girl” repeatedly so the spotlight is taken off him.

Not to overstate this but I would literally bet my life he has posted here and may still be posting using a different screen name.

If one uses cellular the IP address will not be traceable. Another method is to use a VPN which can disguise his location.

Bottom line is that this discussion about the “other girl” is counter productive to finding the perp.

I would be pleased to provide his name to the police but I’m sure they already have it.

Do you mean me?

Because I obviously have a bee in my bonnet about Janelle. I have always assumed I come across British in my posting style but maybe I don’t.

Also I’m definitely a girl not a man :)

I would happily discuss other people in the case but unless you give names then how can we do that. Posters can not magically find a mystery man with no background on them and that doesn’t mean stuff like “go back though Sherrill’s social life in the last few months” how would posters be able to obtain such information.

I think so too Mule. It gets nowhere.

-Sherrill Levitt was spotted driving around town at 2AM.
-Levitt had many visitors to the Delmar house from waterbed delivery guys, to house cleaners, to coworkers and coworkers' friends.
-Nigel mentioned Suzie being worried about her mother
-Stacy had mentioned Suzie being worried about her mother to someone at the gym
-There was an 11:00pm call to the house no one knows who called

The answer isn't in Janelle. Even if she knows something and isn't telling, WHY do you think that is? The perp could retaliate (as Wright said). Someone with community "pull" or authority.

The answer is in Sherrill Levitt and the Delmar house. Not Janelle.

Will you please provide a link or point me in the direction of anything that says Sherrill had a lot of company?
TIA!

No. In fact the one who has put so much effort in discrediting Janelle is the one I suspect. You are are not that person so far as I know.

On the other hand I don’t know how one determines the location and country of the writer’s origin. I’ve not studied you as to your writing style so take what you say at face value.

I do understand why her actions are called into question. I just don’t believe she is lacking credibility. The timeline she provided seems well grounded. That is my personal opinion.

The only thing not clear and it may be totally irrelevant is where the broom and dustpan were located. They surely must have been in plain sight as she has said she had never
been to the home prior to that day. One assumes her boyfriend hadn’t been either. If that were true what was he doing there? These are some lingering questions that should have been cleared up long ago.

I would of said you can tell where I am from my spelling alone. I definitely don’t spell it Mom as I have a Mum or call my mobile phone a cell. I also colour and go to the Theatre :)

I could be totally wrong with Janelle but at what point does her entire story become ridiculous?

She thought they may all still of been sleeping so she lets herself into the house. On her logic of them still sleeping she would of checked Suzie’s bedroom but as she had never been in the home before it’s logical to say she would of checked both bedrooms.

Leading down into suzies room was the 3 handbags with stuff falling out of them according to Janis. Janelle knew the last thing that Stacey had on so why didn’t her clothing being on the bed/floor alarm her. As she was apparently close with both girls she would of known that neither girl could wear each other’s clothes due to size differences.

So she then claims she thought that the family may have gone out but wait Stacey had no clothing and no money as the purses are all lined up and all 3 cars are outside. Also 2 of the women are chain smokers so why would either of them let their cigarettes behind!

Janelle would of also of known that Suzie never went anywhere without her cigarettes so again another red flag.

So in Janelles story we have 3 woman walking around with no money, no cars and no cigarettes. Stacey would also be in her underwear and she also left without her migraine medication that she had been taking forever which again as a long time friend Janelle would of known.

Also on this little walk the 3 women took why didn’t Cinnamon go with them who in Janelle’s own words was acting odd.

ETA
I am not saying Janelle is guilty of Murder but i do think she knew something was not right that morning hence her crying in the car with Mike.

The devil is in the details. Sherrill was neat, so it’s hard to imagine a broom and dustpan in plain view, in her front yard-with broken glass nearby. Janelle saying she didn’t know where Mike got the broom and dustpan wouldn’t have been as shady as a changing story. It should’ve been a question for Mike since he did the sweeping.

There was also a quote I shall try and find that says Mike was confused over the facts of the day.

Here we go, I could be wrong as Mike isn’t named but who else would it of been?

A young male friend of the girls has given various accounts of the
events he recalls between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. on June 7. He was one
of those who entered Levitt's house early in the day apparently
looking for the women. "We pretty well cleared all that up,"
Worsham said of the friend's accounts. "He was simply confused on
some times as to where he was
." End quote. 8-3-92

It makes me wonder why they couldn’t get their story straight. If you are telling the truth it should be easy enough to remember what they were doing at what time I would of thought.

That sounds like they gave him answers or an excuse. Frustrating!!
