Well you’re wrong.

Do you always ask people with theories that differ from yours if they committed the crime?

That’s weird.

Only people that claim their theories are facts or that they have inside information and aren't verified by the site.

Demonstrably false. I’ve respectfully disagreed with you and you got combatitive and immaturely asked if I did this crime.

Talk about a deterrent. If you don’t want me posting here, that’s fine by me.

I really hope this forum doesn't become a snarky board where everyone fights or tears other members theories apart. I know I was a bit rude, but I hate seeing people discouraged from commenting.

I'm sorry if you feel that way.

You're the only one doing those things.

How long ago did Wright say that? On what basis did he make statement?
Wright said that on KOZK in 1992 during the call-in show about the case with Detective Asher.

It's in the Newsleader articles too. Google the Wright profile and you'll see it.

I haven’t verified this but was told that the vandalism was downgraded to “instutional vandalism” as there were no surviving relatives.

No way to know for sure but having literally hundred of private and public messages with Clay, I don’t see him as involved. Unfortunately Recla has been mute. But I don’t see him involved as well. The third one from Illinois wasn’t even in town so far as I know.

To be blunt we are running out of suspects in my opinion.

Did Clay ever say why they decided to rob a grave. Was it a dumb kid thing? It sounds like an old grave, not that that makes it okay but it's a little less creepy (maybe?)

I’ll dig for a source but if I remember correctly it was an old cemetery and they took and pawned teeth from a skull. The pawn shop owner reported it. I guess money was the motive. I don’t know how much they could’ve gotten got for gold fillings.

I think someone said 30 dollars. I did watch a youtube video about pawning your teeth with gold fillings. I was curious if that was a thing. Would they have known teeth had gold fillings or was that just something they found after opening a tomb. It sounds like Suzie might not have been really important to the case. That doesn't mean people wouldn't be angry with her.

When you are a teenager and your girlfriend has betrayed you I’m sure you would hold a lot of anger and resentment towards that person and not only that your friends also being angry and rubbing it in that Suzie was a grass.

Then throw in the fact it seems from the crime scene that these woman knew who did this.

For all we know one of the grave robbers saw Suzie that night driving home and decided to make her pay and it spiralled out of control and if under the influence of drink or drugs that would explain poor decision making.

MOO

ETA

I suddenly realised you may not use the term grass in the U.S but no idea what slang is for there so I have kept it in my post!

‘inform the police of someone's criminal activities or plans.
"someone had grassed on the thieves’

If the grave robbers were so hard up for cash as to be pulling gold-filled teeth from corpses, then maybe they were supporting a drug habit or were in debt to a drug dealer. That dealer might have been concerned that one of the grave robbers would inform on him in order to avoid jail time. Maybe he thought that going after Suzie in order to shut down the prosecution of the grave robbers was a less risky play than going after the grave robbers themselves.

If there was no connection to the grave robbers, then this was probably a sex crime, with two of the women being collateral damage. The wheels could have been set in motion at one of the parties with a sexual assault, with a rejection, or simply with the perp's spotting of one of the victims.
-
Here's my breakdown (for today):
50% Related to grave robbing
40% Sex crime by someone other than Cox
5% Sex crime perpetrated by Cox
5% Other (retaliation for something else, mistaken identity, thrill kill, etc.)

ETA: If the perp was someone who had "taken an interest" in Sherrill or Suzie ahead of time, I would start by looking at neighbors, especially neighbors who had been attentive or helpful; employees of the businesses near the house; and people who lived in the same apartment complex where Suzie had lived with her brothet.

Considering Sherrill was a single mum they certainly had tons of clothes. I mean it’s ridiculous and it’s not like the house was that big either. It would be slightly more understandable for Sherrill to have more clothing due to her line of work BUT we are lead to believe she didn’t go out much and didn’t date.

Sherrill

44 pair of shoes.
34 sweaters.
22 skirts.
32 blouses.

35 dresses

Suzie

74 T-shirts

64 pair of shoes.

40 denim or cloth jackets

Where did this money come from?

I tend to lean towards Suzie and Stacy being the prime targets and that possibly they didn't make it to the Streeter/Levitt home. I tend to go back and forth on that. Getting three women out of the house by force should show more signs of a struggle. If there wasn't a ruse like a person pretending to be a cop, usually being taken to another location is a death sentence, why not make sure it's clear you didn't go voluntarily. If there was a lone perpetrator I can't imagine Sherrill letting them take her daughter while she was alive, alert, or present.
It was mentioned that Stacy didn't wouldn't have fit into Suzie's clothes. If her clothes were left behind what did she leave the house in?

Where did this money come from?

Some people shop at goodwill. Or don't get rid of clothing or shoes (I'm pointing at myself lol). Also spending money that you don't have is another reason you might have to downsize.

Clay, I believe said they were “tripping” on LSD per my recollection.

He had been rather open about this. I think Suzie’s car may have been used as to how she got dragged into this. Seems she filed a a police report on this,

Previously she had an order of protection on the other boyfriend. This was mentioned in the 48 Hours program.

Doubt any of this was connected to the crime.

If you were only angry at one person why would you take two other people? It could have been more involved like some group feud and something just came to a head that night. That also doesn't mean Clay was involved in anything besides partying in a cemetery. He also might not have known what his friends were thinking. A protection from abuse order can mean nothing, it can be a stipulation in a court case it can also mean someone has been abusive and is harassing you and all other attempts have failed to get them to leave you alone. Suzie could have had bad taste in boyfriends but she seemed to nip it in the bud quickly. Not wanting your car driven around to transport stolen bones is fair. I think the pawn shop owner alerted the police. If you pick your boyfriend up and he is ready to pawn the gold from teeth while he is carrying around a stolen skull or something that's gotta be a wtf moment.

Yes, a per
If I thought someone was going to retaliate against me the best way to prevent it is to let everyone know who you are scared of and why. Not just here, tell everyone. Make it so if anything happens to you it confirms that you were right.

Exactly. I've done that myself! More in a tongue in cheek and sorta not....
I've heard about 'victims' telling their friends and relatives just that.....if I disappear....it was ______ who did it.

Exactly. And I'd turn the suckers in.
And those 'boys' didn't mind handling dead people's remains...far as I know, they weren't coroners. Lol How creepy is that?
On one newscast...might have been Knowles...LE stated the 'boys' lit the hair of one body and used it as a lantern. Genius. :rolleyes:o_O:eek:

The above does not mean I'm convinced the Grave Robbers abducted 3 women but I do hope they got counseling!
