Misty's New Interview

at the 55 second mark into the interview Misty is describing the events that occurred February 9th.. she first states doesn't know watt awoke her..then says she went to bathroom..then switches to she went to kitchen and light was on[as already discussed not a peep about that door there in that well lit kitchen was propped wide open with cider block].. Immediately after she states she went to kitchen and the light was on she says that she went back to bedroom to get her phone to call Ron..says she calls him 20 something times and he "don't answer"..

after this she then states that she saw that Haleigh was not in her bed and that she was missing..

She clearly says that she did not see or realize Haleigh was not in her bed until after the 20 something calls are made to Ron..

The amount of main details of that night that have been changed..omitted..or other wise by Misty is really beginning to be an outstanding amount..

I don't recall hearing her say she did not know Haleigh was missing or not in her bed until after she had called Ronald 20 times..My understanding is she said she did not know Haleigh was missing until she went back to the bedroom to get her phone to call Ronald..JMHO

Nonsense? Too many people have reported that Ron abused someone, and just 'cause DCF didn't do their job, does not mean it didn't happen. With Ron's temper that has been proven and the various accusations, it's nonsense that there is any doubt -- it happened. The whole world is not set out to say bad things about one Ron Cummings. He's really not that important.

Just because it was "reported" to DCF doesn't mean it did happen either.

I know Crystal's name is not to be mentioned here except in hushed and reverent tones, but, IMO, she lies when it suits her.

Crystal is far from the only one that has indicated that Ron was abusive.

I would like to ask Misty if Ron had the scratches on his neck and hands before he left for work Monday afternoon.

The scratches and band aid on Ron’s neck Tuesday suggest to me he took his daughter from her bed and she fought back. He told us Hailey said she would see him when he got home from work.

This is the first time I heard Misty say Ron appeared strung out on drugs when he returned from work. There is speculation Hailey was stolen because her father owed money for drugs and it is a fact a portion of the money deposited into the bank account the funeral director opened for him went to pay his rent which was in arrears, car insurance and utility bills. Ron is my prime suspect and apparently his employer beefed up security where Ron worked after his daughter vanished. Ron took pills that belonged to Misty according to her and Misty knows a whole lot more. Ron’s landlords, The Bards, never said Ron didn’t pay his rent on time but I know for a fact monies were allocated from the trust fund for this purpose.

Roughly a year ago Misty told her father Hank Sr that CPS interviewed her in St. John’s County Jail and she told them Ron was a great father. She also denied Ron would harm his daughter because she was his heart. Now she is opening up and admitting Ron physically, emotionally and psychologically abused her, Hailey, and Junior throughout their entire relationship. After Haleigh told her mother Ron was hurting them Crystal said she contacted CPS but she wasn't awarded temporary custody of her children. I wish charges for Domestic Violence would be laid against Ron and he would be held accountable for his crimes. Misty, Crystal and Amber could all testify in Court against him and Justice would be served somewhat. It would make me very happy if charges were yet laid against Ron Cummings for domestic violence.

If the Judge who convicted the male who raped Misty Croslin didn’t order him to pay his victim, Misty Croslin, a determined amount of money in restitution, he should have. In the State of Florida, it’s the guilty person’s responsibility to compensate and pay monies to the victim. JM was in his early twenties when he was convicted and sent to prison for rape so it is reasonable to assume he will earn an income. He can earn an income in prison so IMO the Justice system failed Misty if they didn’t issue an order instructing JM to pay her once he was convicted. The Victims Compensation Board only offered to cover the cost of counseling services for Misty afaik and she was a minor when she was raped. However they should have seen that JM’s wages were garnished and Misty got what she deserves.

I am interested in knowing if Misty could file a grievance against the Court to have this oversight rectified. The Court failed Misty so they should be paying her IMO.

I don't know if the Court failed misty. The victim's Compensation Board ususally gives out money and doesn't tell people how to spend it. They may have suggested it. Do we have any info on that and when and how it was obtained?

JM was just sixteen yrs. old when this happened. He may not have received such a long sentence if misty didn't testify. Lisa gave the court permission to allow her to testify. With misty's recollection and history, that concerns me.

It is doubtful we will ever learn how the money was used. I don't think the have to account for it. It would also be interesting to know if rc filed for victim assistance when Haleigh vanished. Donations and compensations have not been privy to the public.

something tells me IF there was compensation given that the funds were not used on Misty, but rather for her mom and dad. Misty never saw that money nor did was it use for any type of therapy for Misty. JMO

Hi Em..Yep!! Unfortunately she does infact have this sequence now switched around for this interview..stating that she calls Ronald 20 times to which he "don't answer" and its after this call that she sees that Haleigh's missing..AArrgghh!! So frustrating!! How many different ways or versions is there in Misty's head..

You got that right!! I was thinking this exact thought early this morning when posting the snipped portion from her interview..

Literally in my mind I pictured a long drive leading to a nice house(not a trailer)..

Another disturbing piece of info to add to the entire salvage yard full of disturbing info.. Details.. Statements that we continue to come across the longer this case drags on..

IMO just another indicator that Misty's mind is not...err..well..

Thanks Donjeta. I've always tried not to read too much into anything Misty says, LOL. I'm aware of the other usage of driveway which you quoted, it's just always seemed to be an odd choice of words to me.

I suppose, in hindsight, it has to be called something..........

Does anyone know anything about this? Did someone discover that Ron really got to work later and they changed it so no one else would dare question his involvement?

IDK if they've changed the timeline again or if they're being careless with the details...I'm going with changing the timeline, because that's what Bowling said... but I wonder why. Ron made a deal to be truthful, so I'm guessing maybe he's talking? Misty seems defensive and for the 1st time, she's pointing in Ron's direction...so it seems IMO, like she's retaliating for something he might have said. Nothing any of these people say can be trusted, so I hope if Ron IS talking, LE is verifying the information. Nobody's word should be taken...not after 2 + years of the runaround. Also, the article says that Bowling says Misty remains the focus. Now, what does that mean? It wasn't in quotes, so did he actually use those words or did the writer paraphrase? because 'the focus' is a whole lot different than 'the key'. on a side note...the writer seemed preoccupied with Misty's smoking and weight. Ron smoked too and I doubt he's the same skinny guy . MOO.

Good questions, Dodie. Another question that comes to mind, I wonder if Bowling's statement is a current one, or just a re-print of an old article, like some we have seen.
