Really? Seriously, really when you think about it ...There is really nothing funny about how LE has handled this case or their refusal to apply any real pressure to Ron C or anyone in his family... LE's refusal to believe Ronald Cummings is involved has also been stated publically.. IF... Not true, they have had ample time to correct those claims but since they haven't I'll choose to believe they'll do anything to cover their own inadequacies.. So nothing at this stage of the game would surprise me...And IMO there is absolutely nothing funny about any of this either...JMHO

even when considering all possibilities of who could have done what, I don't get LE either. According to this article, Misty is their focus. ok, I believe that. Why don't they call her a suspect? if she is, that is. If not, move on to another focus. But they've instead, made a point to say that she and Ron are not suspects. I see no reason after 2 years to be playing this so close to the vest. They don't treat any of these 3 like a suspect, IMO. They tiptoe around Ron, they call Misty the key who's witholding information, and they ignore Tommy. If she's the perp, she's not going to confess, so they need to label her the suspect. If one of the others is the suspect, they need to stop waiting for Misty to solve this case. I'm bewildered by their tactics. MOO.

Thank you is not enough! I believe that if they would have looked into Ronald Cummings involvement, they would have solved the case, and it would not be cold. From the first time I saw RC's acting debut on T.V., I knew he was involved completely! It always surprises me when I read that others believed he was sincere during that debut, and nothing will change their minds. JMO

You're absolutely right though. It's late but LE should have looked at Ronald (and his family). Some tough questions should have been answered.

If they haven't been on that road, and very little points they have, they need to do what most lost people would do -- get on a different road. You might get somewhere quicker.

I sincerely appreciate your thanks, but truthfully I find it extremely hard to believe LE doesn't know he is involved but since they don't want to hear it, I have no other choice than to believe those assigned to investigating this case or either dumb as a rock or crooked as HELL...JMHO

They don't want to hear the dumb stuff Misty is saying about him, they want the TRUTH. They totally know hes the main perp, she could wrap this all up if she really wanted but she chooses to rot. I think she will eventually tell on him.

If a new investigative team had been assigned from the beginning, we would not be discussing this thread as we are right now. Please explain the "dumb stuff" LE is not interested in hearing? And IMO LE has never acted in anyway that suggests they believe Ron C is the one responsible for Haleigh's death. They haven't applied any pressure to Ron C or anyone in his family.. ALL the pressure has been applied to the Croslins...JMHO

You're exactly right, Lone. This case should have been solved 2 yrs. ago, and if LE had asked the right questions to the right people, it would be over. By the right people I mean Ron, AS, and TN, plus the men in that family.
OT, I'm not getting to post on WS as often as I would like, so if something does break in this case, someone please PM me. I usually check in everyday or so and will see the PM. I am overwhelmed with medical issues. Laser surgery a few wks ago for Glauchoma, now Cataract surgery in June. Had to see a Rheumotologist b4 could have this to see if headached due to Temporal Arteritis (not Arthritis). Physical Therapy 2/per wk, diabetic, 4 shots a day, digenerative disc, neck and back, chorotizone shots, and on and on and on. Becoming very frustrated. Miss talking to ya'll everyday, just have to change my focus for a while.Thanks, Nonni

Just observations.....

Cinder blocks in backyard & under house to right of ramp.
They claim to not know of any cinder blocks......???

In one of Misty's many statements:
* "I asked Ronald if Haleigh was with him as he approached the door."
* (IMO he probably had stopped off for a few before the convenience store, tall beer, cigs, peanuts.)
* His reaction is of a drunk man or a grieving man.
* Misty said once, " I came in & saw the litchen light on....."
* 90 phone calls to Misty's unanswered cell phone from Ronald....What did he know?

I'm sure it was just spinning the back tire in the dirt. A toddler's version of a "wheelie". I wouldn't put too much thought into that.

I believe this interview with Misty. If she could get the PCSO to listen to what she said about the black man at the bar that Ron's family owned and someone could identify the man, maybe they could get some credible answers. If it was a public place, someone must have known who this person was. Why didn't Ron report this?.........well, it's not too hard to figure out that he was protecting himself from being implicated through drug abuse and whoever actually had Haleigh would harm her if the police were called. Did he think he could wait it out? Was this story the one TN was worried about whether or not she would talk? It's a cinch someone in that family knew what they had to do but did they do any of it? No........instead he was back out on the streets doing the same thing he did before his daughter disappeared. Did PCSO give LDT's to TN and Grandma? IMO, putting ALL the pressure on her has been PCSO's biggest mistake. She's no angel but I do not believe she had anything to do with it. She was setup to be used as the scapegoat.

Whoever went into that mobile home and took that child put out the word that night to RC. Thus the 90 some phone calls flying all over the place. As to who called who, remains to be seen. JMO

As others have stated before me it is because if she told the truth she would probably get a needle in her arm or be the person that testifies so her brother does . I don;t feel bad for her ..she's still alive .
Don't forget ...she failed her lie detector tests for a reason.
