MISSING PERSON ALERT: The Aitkin County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing woman. Anne Wyatt is 55 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 145 pounds and has brown/blonde hair and brown eyes. Wyatt was last seen in Aitkin County on Jan. 2, 2023, and has not had contact with family or friends since. Her direction of travel and destination are unknown, as is what she was wearing when she left. She does not have her cell phone with her. Anyone with information on Anne Wyatt’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Aitkin County Sheriff’s Office at 218-927-7435.

Still no updates on Anne. I can understand a misplaced phone or Anne intentionally leaving it behind, but why would she leave her vehicle and dog?

On the afternoon of Friday January 13 2023, a body believed to be that of Anne Wyatt was found in a wooded area near Big Pine Lake in Aitkin County. The body has been sent to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner for positive identification and to determine cause of death. At this time, it does not appear that foul play is a factor in Wyatt's disappearance.

Wow… I am sick to my stomach and fear this situation so much, it’s like she slipped through the cracks..
ended up with no support system or resources, she kept looking for help and ran out of everything.
