One would think that SIM would at least expect their missionaries to have charisma, .. at the very least, some sort of interesting personality,, some capacity for public speaking, some kind of gift, or talent for drawing people in, not repelling them with dribbling slogans and memes....

Jacki, and to a certain extent, Beau, seemed to be completely lacking in any sort of maturity, or even a grasp on real life, this endless blithering about 'love'... 'why don't people love me?'.. well, Jackie , it could be because you are dreary and needy and offputting.. That's a simple answer, obvious and crystal. I have to hand it to Bernadino if he put up with that kind of hammering nonsense day in , day out from either of them.. He must be a bit of a saint.

I still wonder if they heard God correctly , about going to Angola, in AFRICA,... maybe they heard it wrong...it seemed so inefficient to me to have people tasked with spreading the word of God if they did not already speak the language of the targetted , oh I was about to say victims, but targetted recipients might be more tactful.

Always with the hand out for a 'donation'... Randy couldn't help but insert a bit of patronising about the Angolan Legal system, which has a higher rating of integrity than many a USA state attorneys outfit... really, it is just shameless. No explanation of how Jackie went so far off the rails of her professed deep knowledge and love of Jesus and God, how it all turned her into a co author of murder, and this follows that there was a conspiracy.. . a planned exercise to murder, because it stretches the credibility to believe that Bernadino and Jackie suddenly thought up the idea, separately and coincidentally acted upon it. They must have discussed it, and since the label is for Jackie , co author, means she probably did write about it. She genuinely seems that stupid to me, I bet she did write it down,..

I suppose people are at liberty to give their money to whomsoever, but it's mighty strange to me. Jackie would be allocated a public defender, SIMS won't be paying for that, it's against Angolan rules, they might be paying for the American lawyers, but it would seem very odd to me if they were allowed to approach the Angolan bar in any legal representation position., they would not be part of the Angolan Justica Dept. .. let's hope that these American blokes can at least speak Portugese. There was a complete reversal of gender roles which kind of invalidated the message, in that Pastor Eaton ( dressed for snow blowing ) put forward Bernadino as Bathsheba, and Jackie as King David.. at least , I think that was how it went, it sort of went into outer space after that, for me, this tended to skew the concept quite radically, it was very hard to imagine that kind of positioning, but I persevered, hoping for some insight, eventually, it came down to this, SIN is everywhere, and you better watch out, basically. I just could not grasp Bernadino being Bathsheba. It did not jell. ....

I listened a second time and came away even more discombobulated so I've put it down to the cultural gap.

That is very kind and considerate of the Angolan Correctional Dept, don't you think? they don't have to do that, and it must be something they organise for quite a few women in that prison, people who's familes are up country, or in Namibia, or for some of the women with families in the Congo it would be a terrific ease of fear and anxiety.. Yes, reciprocity is certainly a possibility. I was basing my cautious optimism on the fact that Angola is on the “yellow” list of banned countries that have an opportunity to address “deficiency concerns.”
