It's sad that riots across our nation have resulted in over two billion dollars in damages over George's murder.
YET the entire majority of the country of ALL RACES immediately came together to condemn what DC did to George. Also all police departments everywhere condemned it as well.
I just find that very ironic, and very sad as well for all the businesses that have been destroyed.

I don’t find it ironic. This was an extremely visible and very obvious example of police brutality against a black person. So people couldn’t deny reality. Including LE leaders.
And rioting that happened over this case wasn’t just because of this case but a culmination of case upon case, injustice upon injustice. Unending bias and oppression for a whole group of people that leads to them getting the short end of the stick in every game that’s played from education, housing, employment, medical care, treatment in stores and restaurants, in parks and sidewalks and pools. And in all interactions with LE starting as small children at school.
My experience with black people is they’re my neighbors, postal workers, court reporters, court clerks, professors, small business owners, cops, judges, lawyers, bankers, etc. But it’s vastly harder for the average person to get to those places when the deck is stacked against them and the research is too vast and definitive that the deck is indeed stacked against black people.
So what’s ironic to me is the full throated condemnation of the worst of the broken hearted and desperate of a population while the worst of another population are never condemned for acting the same way in celebration of something like a sporting event win! Not due to hopeless outrage. That’s amazing to me.
Finally, once again, we have had millions upon millions of people peacefully protesting. Those who commit crimes like arson and looting cause a ton of visible, disgusting damage but they are a small fraction of those crying out for change.
