Great observation. I must say I’d be watching the door, given circumstances and history.

And the “security” issues brought up by the judge yesterday

On the record, with jury out of courtroom, Judge said he will allow prosecution overnight to prepare a rebuttal case for tomorrow.
Could this be about trying to impeach a witness(s) that was sort of brought up yesterday?

I’m betting the nurse gets it.

For me there’s to many unanswered questions....
What happen in the ambulance, when was oxygen administered, when did CPR start, vitials in ambulance. How long were they pulled over, why?
Vitials, test, labs and treatment at ER.
I’m reserving judgement until I see the big picture and all evidence is in.

Two crew members got in ambulance. Medics had Lucas device working on an unresponsive,
pulseless male. Pt had advanced airway secured; E17 took over ventilations and also assisted
medics getting IV and meds prepared. Crew accompanied medics to HCMC STAB room, continuing w/
ministrations. Medics performed pulse checks several times, finding none, and delivered one
shock by their monitor. Pt's condition did not change. E17 helped get pt into STAB room,
continuing ventilations until relieved by ER staff.

Perhaps, unless the jury follows the potential jury instructions as to "causal contributor"
For all I know they could have made up their minds before the defense started their case. JMO

The wording of the jury instructions is going to be so important in this case IMO

Thank you for finding and posting.

Wait what happened to the 2019 arrest video? Judge ruled that certain portions showing GF swallowed drugs to conceal would come in. Did I miss that testimony with the videos?

Thank you for finding and posting.
There is also a video in the media thread of the ambulance ride which shows everything they did from the time they got there.

I was concerned how some jurors answered the survey questions. I would have a hard time having a juror who admitted not liking me and agreeing to overlook their feeling and remain impartial. Not the exact words but close.
That’s just me and my opinion.

Listening to this witness was very taxing on my mind. I found myself tuning out and then having to refocus over and over. I do not think allowing him to pontificate on things like the contents of exhaust and seeing an alleged pill in his mouth (which could arguably be a tooth/filling) helped anything.
I wonder if the state will call a car expert during rebuttal to discuss exhaust fumes now. or pull GF dental records?

I think it was because this witness referenced other testimony and who/what he disagreed with. He is allowing the State time to explore whether they want to call those witnesses back in rebuttal. That was my understanding.

Thank you I’ll try to watch tonight.

To me, what really nails Chauvin is the minimizing of his restraint on GF in his report to supervision. If bystanders had not taped his actions, it probably would have never even been addressed.

Didn't Chauvin realize that the crowd was taping everything? It was going to come out.

They showed it yesterday, or at least part of it. It didn't show him swallowing any pills, but you can hear the officer say spit it out, I think. Floyd told the EMT worker he had taken 7 or 8 pills. Yet he didn't fall down, collapse, or have an overdose as the prosecutor pointed out.

This made me LOL. Thanks.

Has the “pill in the mouth” been addressed before? I initially thought it was tooth, but now I’m not sure. I am curious about it now though.

But we know from previous testimony that a partially dissolved pill was found in the squad car in either Dec 2020 or Jan 2021 (I can't quite recall the date, but it wasn't right away). It had GF's DNA on it.

It might have been the partial pill they found in the police squad that we saw a picture of.

I can think of a couple of witnesses. I agree no one wants to testify and emotions can be all over the place. A couple, that I’ve seen, came off as blatantly disrespectful. I suppose I can understand why the jury doesn’t get to know some things. It should have no bearing on whether they pay attention to that particular witness or how much credibility they give their testimony.

Some experts witnesses for both sides are hard to follow for various reasons. I’m sure the jury feels the same. I hope that doesn’t deter them from paying close attention to what each one says.

I haven't had any problems following any of the witnesses for either side.

I did miss that this last witness is also a professor at John Hopkins.

I just saw that in one of the posts here.

I thought it was after he was pronounced deceased.
Thanks for letting me everything after GF was loaded into ambulance was forbidden.

I’ve not followed, as closely, as some. We have great experts, that have studied more detail than myself. I’m grateful to each. I appreciate you clarifying for me.

Moo

See ETA on the post as I wasn't clear at first. MOO

I do wonder why the ME didn't do a toxicology test on George's stomach contents.
