Does fentanyl make someone lethargic? All I know it can be deadly. Even the dust from it can be very harmful from what I've read.

I admit I know next to nothing when it comes to these kind of drugs though.

Isn't fentanyl 100 times more lethal than morphine? Tia!

I don't think any of this testimony will make a difference in the end unless the defense has a convincing expert stating since he had just taken these drugs, and had heart disease too it caused him to have a heart attack or go into cardiac arrest. I highly doubt they will be able to prove it though.

Even if it happened George was in the care of the defendant who failed to help him.

Fentanyl is said to be 50-100 times more potent than morphine. I don't necessarily think it makes you lethargic, but it can make you drowsy until you get used to the side effects, the same as any other opioid.

It's very effective when prescribed in therapeutic doses, but of course the danger is when people abuse the drug or when it's added to heroin or other drugs.

I think it's important to establish that Floyd had a tolerance to opioids and had taken the same combination before. When he did overdose, he was treated at a hospital.

And yes, the officers knew or at least suspected he had taken drugs. There were many signs that he needed medical attention, starting when he was taken out of the car and they noticed a white substance around his mouth.

Paramedic stating he assuming there was still a struggle as he saw multiple officers on top of GF

No it wasn’t an oops—it was on purpose to get ahead of the drug addiction that the defense will bring up.
I knew that.

And then he said, when he got out of the truck, he did not see a struggle.

Sorry - who is this prosecutor again....

Consistent not!
Not at all. When he approached the scene in the ambulance, he stated what his assumption was when he saw officers on the patient. Then he stated what reality was.

To me, he seems like he takes his job seriously. I find him credible.

Can you imagine the pressure of all this for the witnesses, knowing thousands/millions of people are watching you? I would find it unnerving, knowing everyone is analyzing/judging every single iota of your presence and words.

Showing paramedic one of the witness videos.

Hmm dangerous ground to ask his opinion on that when he hasn’t arrived surely?!?

Edit to add:
Ok she asking question as he was shown in end. He showed a gesture which was to ask the officer to move..

He doesn’t recall if he said anything to ask suspect to move

Maybe he had the feeling he was going to die because of the drugs he ingested.

Ross said about a week before GF died she had a similar experience where she felt like she was going to die. The pills made her feel like she was going to die. She said she didn’t remember saying that but it was in her early testimony.
I doubt it. He seemed to be feeling fine when he was dancing around in the store. He didn't say he was going to die until after Chauvin had been kneeling on his neck for several minutes. That would be frightening for anybody, even if they hadn't taken any drugs.

Either way, the reason doesn't matter as much as the fact that the officers ignored his symptoms and did nothing to help him.

I noted the gentleman who is invoking his 5th amendment right is very suspicious, IMO. Furthermore, I’m curious if he gave the drugs to GF to swallow after law enforcement was notified/on scene, on top of allocating GF counterfeit money.
