He’s a human being and I was trying to give him a second chance at life

They went to HCMC.

Eldridge, "What had to happen before you were able to move to the hospital?

Smith, "We got him to a relatively stable position where I could manage this cardiac arrest .." and says they actively worked on him entire trip to HCMC.

Eldridge asks what happened after they shocked Floyd's heart.

Smith, "he remained in his quote on quote dead state".

I haven't heard any mention of paramedics administering Narcan... did I just miss it? Seems odd to me.
Why would they? He was already unresponsive with no pulse when they got there. He was already dead and most likely had been for a few minutes prior to their arrival.
Because Defense wants jury to believe that death was caused by the drugs in his system? But, why wasn't his condition being treated as an overdose, if that were the case?

I don't think defense likes this witness to keep saying he was dead the entire time... sidebar over...

Did anything change

Witness “no”

Bowing his head looking like he nearly lost composure imo

Witness: When I showed up he was deceased and when I showed up at the hospital he was still deceased.

Funny he called it an "unwelcoming scene". They couldn't of been more welcome for 99.9% of the people there.

Witness “ i showed up and he was deceased and I dropped him off at the hospital and he was the same”

(This sounds like a good point to me.)

Unless they wouldn’t know what type of drug, so....

Witness repeated many times during testimony:

I was working a cardiac arrest.

We learn from the second paramedic that GF was in cardiac arrest when they got there, they couldn't get a pulse on the ambulance nor in the hospital.

As I've said before, in my opinion, we may get the MEs side of the story and be over with it

Defence up
Is it common to feel for a pulse with a thumb?

Witness “generally fingers” touching his neck

  • #338
officer Chauvin still had his knee on patient

Witness “is that what the video shows”

  • #339
Witness “were you confirming what she has already gone over”

This witness has attitude I love him. ‘You’re just going over what she’s already said?’
