The PJ71 answers questions with "I will try"
The answer the lawyers are looking for is "I WILL"
Yes, this what defense was hoping for.Judge Cahill has dismissed Juror #71 for CAUSE.
LOL. perfect...and funny.Someone posted on Twitter (assume it’s a parody):
Juror 71 Recap:
Defense: Can you be fair? No. Can you be fair? No. Can you be fair? No
Judge: Can you be fair? No. Are you sure. Yes.
State: Can you be fair? No. If you HAD to be fair because it was the law that you be fair, could you be fair. I'll try.
State: Juror will be fair.
That was excellent work by Defense in saving a strike...IMO. He got Judge to do the work for him (dismissing for Cause). Just want to add, this is first defense attorney I've seen in years I really respect. (so far) imoJudge Cahill has dismissed Juror #71 for CAUSE.

I know, right? That was spectacular. Prosecutor helping out the Defense a bit to get on the jury, a juror the prosecution really, really wanted seated. That was about the size of it. lol At first I wasn't sure if the State was just trying to force defense into using another strike but when State was trying to rehabilitate him, it was evident they really wanted this one.
Forgive the sports analogy, but to me this is like watching a baseball game with two superman pitchers on opposing teams.
May I ask why the defense is wanting this in?
I haven't been able to keep up with this case like I hoped I would due to several of our family members, and friends having Covid.
I missed getting to read the autopsy report (if it was in the media) so I'm assuming George's death was due to being asphyxiated, right? TIA, JG.

According to the Hennepin County report, there was no tissue or muscle damage to the neck. Also, hyoid bone was intact. Primary cause of death was cardiac arrest.May I ask why the defense is wanting this in?
