Do you think it is likely that a stipulation will be reached pre-trial to disallow settlement testimony?
I do think that an agreement will be reached pre-trial. It's up to the judge to allow the testimony. or not.

Sure, the option was available, but not common with a crime this serious. Most felony trials are jury trials. Remember, Chauvin needs 12 to all agree he's guilty. With a bench trial, only one is needed to convict.I am wondering why these officers did not go with the option of a bench trial, as the officers did in the "Freddie Grey" case in Baltimore.
Was this option available? If not, why?
Glad he was seated too. Anyone a bit surprised he was seated? I think State may be happy with PJ#79Pass For Cause
Woohoo, I like this guy, glad he's been seated.
I think PJ85 will be seated. Hope we get some media tweets on her voir dire soon.
Juror #78 says he has seen some headlines on the case including debate over murder-3 & #Mpls $27M civil settlement with #GeorgeFloyd family. Says settlement didn't surprise him. Tells court "it's not pertinent" to the criminal case. #DerekChauvinTrial
