The internet was started in 1989 and most websites did not last for more than 90 days. It was still in it's infancy in 1991. FB started February 4, 2004. It's very doubtful that DR or his friend were on the web at the time Jacob was abducted since most of the people using it at that time were CERN scientists. DR would only have seen his friends FB page at some point after 2004, if he has seen it at all. Unless he is a FB friend of the individual, it would be difficult to prove DR has seen the page.

Are you aware that DR has professional experience with computers going back to 1978?

The boys made a somewhat lengthy telephone call to Clearwater, MN to ask their parents for permission to go to Tom Thumb. Patty says no, the phone is given to Jerry, Jerry gives them warning but tells them it's ok to go.

For those of you who have never seen the results of a search warrant, allow me to give info. (No. It was not my property.)

LE empties everything, and totally leaves it for the owner to pick up/put back. If we consider the barn where the chest was taken, think everything down. Everything out of the shed(s). If we consider the house, think every drawer emptied and left, mattresses turned over, kitchen cupboards emptied and left, closets emptied on the floor. Of course, this depends on how each LE operates, but I have been privy to results.

So, why would anyone be upset/angry after a search warrant? Kinda obvious.

If they had just cause, I don't think that is an argument for not searching the house. I hope DR would help them since he lives there.

The breakdown is totally weird considering they would certainly want to help find a missing child. A child that must be in their mind. A child who is in our minds and we don't even live there

Don't confuse "help" with "leave the property while LE trashes the house and grounds." If the parents believe DR's innocence, "help" probably does not include what must feel like persecution by the police.

Can you figure out why two people in their 80s would be traumatized by this? They've come up with -0-. Why doesn't SCSO look at the other suspects....the convicted pedophiles?? Now there's homes worth tossing!!!!

Please stop saying that, both of you. If they found nothing then why after 21 years did they suddenly make him a POI, for which they cant discuss the details yet. Items are still testing in the lab. This is just the plain truth, be patient in this process before we jump to conclusions.

It's been five years, and with today's technology and forensics, they'd have answers...I would think. I'm going to need to look into this further, but I can't imagine why it would take so long; not today.....not on a high profile case, that would be a high priority.

Why are they still asking the general public for any information/clues? Being open minded, and considering other suspects is essential in solving crimes? It's fine if they still want to keep DR on the list, but they need to focus their energy to other potential evidence on other suspects, which I hope they are.

There's been at least 3 people trying to get LE to look at other evidence that's pretty strong on other suspects on LE's list. Hopefully they'll get this information FULLY investigated.

It takes a while to get true results, build a prosecution, if the POI does not choose to confess.

I have said this at least 3 times: sometimes they have strong circumstantial evidence but if they REALLY want to be sure this guy is nailed, they need MORE. (Think Casey Anthony.) I think the family knows who did this and they only want to know where Jacob is and to bring him home.

Maybe he did see them. Given that all those sites were legal and dealt with adult consensual sexual activity, what is he supposed to have done if he saw them?

I think one would be very impressed with what was on those sites as well as the age of the subjects which looked very young. Some were of questionable age . Is showing children tied up child ?

I imagine it is not.

If one wishes to have friends that are convicted child molesters and have sites like that on their FB, whatever. It made me sick.

Why would they have a clue what a search warrant entails? I believe there never was one before so how would they know? At least DR states that they never had a search warrant in the past when they looked in the house

I think you missed it all. It was maybe last summer when we discovered on WS that DR had a convicted sex offender as a friend on his FB. That is a current friend, A long time friend.

We looked at the friend's FB friends and what he was interested in. It was all removed from WS.

Someone was reading on WS because he sex offender deleted his FB quickly after it was exposed. There was banter on DR's page between the offender and DR.

The Rassier's house was not "tossed" as you are suggesting, because if it had been, DR would have been protesting about that in subsequent interviews on TV. He has stated publicly that LE searched his room and he assisted them and told them he had a box filled with "Jacob" stuff under his bed. He was very helpful and told them where things were, they did not ransack the home.
