MN - Journalist Don Lemon arrested for church protest, Minneapolis, 18 Jan 2026

I can't read the slur you gave the church pastor, who is a victim in this case, along with his congregants.
A slur? Truthbomb
IMO
Why is one held to a different standard just because of their job or title?

  • #162
They might want to consider the "other job" that their pastors have. If it aligns with biblical teachings. If not, they are probably not a good fit for a religious organisation.

imo
There is nothing wrong with having a job as a federal immigration officer and it is in no way a bad fit for a pastor.

I think a lot of our churches will be considering these kinds of safety measures after this unconscionable assault.

Most have. It's nothing new happens frequently and is a top topic for Pastral Conferences.

That's why it's so strange to me that real and present danger wasn't recognized by the Field Leader of ICE and Pastor.

Maybe he's one of the new hires that weren't adequately trained.

All imo

More than two dozen agents involved in Lemon arrest, source says

From CNN's Josh Campbell

The arrest of journalist Don Lemon in the Los Angeles area involved more than two dozen federal agents, according to a law enforcement source familiar with the operation.

Lemon was arrested by a team of agents from Homeland Security Investigations and the FBI, the source said, with HSI leading the investigation.

The large arrest team assembled by HSI included agents who made direct contact with Lemon, as well as others stationed in and around the Beverly Hills Hotel, where the arrest took place, who were on standby for any necessary traffic or crowd control issues, the source said.

"More than two dozen federal agents"

Could have used one or two officers but no, have to soak taxpayers yet again for a dog and pony show 🙄

I wouldn't think it was the best fit in Minneapolis. Maybe in some other city that is not actively fighting the influx of thousands of ICE officers.

Don Lemon appears in federal court for charges related to St. Paul church protest

From CNN's Nick Watt, Jack Hannah and Taylor Romine

Former CNN anchor Don Lemon appeared in federal court in Los Angeles as he faces several charges for his coverage of a protest at a St. Paul church two weeks ago.

Lemon was released on a personal recognizance bond and will face no pretrial supervision. The judge required him to get permission for foreign travel, and allowed him to go on a trip to France in June.

The unsealed grand jury indictment shows Lemon is charged with conspiring to violate someone’s constitutional rights and violating the FACE Act, which prohibits the use of force or threats to intentionally interfere with someone expressing their First Amendment right to religion.

The Justice Department attempted to charge Lemon last week, but a magistrate judge rejected the charges, saying there was insufficient evidence.

I think that the case against Don Lemon will be thrown out. His arrest coincides with the release of more Epstein files. A distraction.

Just for more information about said pastor ... he was named as a defendant in a class action lawsuit - right alongside Kristi Noem, Todd Lyons, and others.

The church probably brought negative attention to itself by allowing him to be a pastor. imo

I had a feeling he was A LOVELY 'pastor' and wondered exactly WHAT were his preachings as he felt being a part of the ICE gang out there and condoning unless his 'flock' can speak out otherwise that he was against their violence and killing. You know you can go online for a preacher, minister certificate for a lot of these 'christian labeled' churches, it's crazy and get money every week while you're at it, paid and that tithing thing.. IMO

Say it LOUDER for those that are terribly distraught over the assault on the pastor of a christian church. No surprise at all, people need to 'dig a bit' about what they are in an uproar about, esp if in the minority. IMO

We are not permitted to post slurs on any victims on WS, regardless of one's personal views about them.
David Easterwood is not a victim. He was not even in the church that day.

There has been no reporting on MSM that the church pastor has pushed any political agenda, at least none that I have seen. Do you have any link that says that is the case?
I think you would have to be an attendee to hear his agenda. IMO

This won't stick. I see that he hasn't done anything wrong.
