In the pressor, the Chief says her wallet, phone and jacket she was wearing earlier were found " inside the residence". Not in the van.
Which pretty much means she didn’t leave there voluntarily. Whatever happened most likely happened in her own home .

The home is a duplex, I'm curious if the next door neighbor was home. With all those surrounding homes, someone has to have caught the van on camera. Were two people visible?

It really sounds like they have some evidence and know she won’t be coming home alive, hate saying that. I just hope they find her quickly and the family can come to terms, not be left weeks/ months looking.

No it was after 8am because they took the children to day care but I’m sure it was shortly after that.

Hi Everyone,
(PLEASE DO NOT DISCUSS DONATIONS ON THIS THREAD. CLICK HERE FOR DISCUSSION)
Websleuths is very expensive to run. Most months we make enough to pay for the server, pay the IT guy, and a bit of money left over for me for some bills or food. This way I can keep Websleuths free for everyone.
There are months when this is not the case.
I recently pre-paid the server fee and almost all I owed our IT guy. I knew the money coming in for the month from advertising would not cover the bills but I thought I had another revenue stream coming in so I wasn't worried. That revenue stream didn't happen.

Basically, I need donations to cover the server and what I owe the IT and a bit extra for my groceries.

I have provided Websleuths free for almost 20 years (since 2004) and will do my best to keep Websleuths free for members and visitors.

This month we need 2700 dollars to keep Websleuths running. I don't know what next month's ad dollars will be. Hopefully, you won't be hearing from me.

Let me stress if you cannot afford a donation please do not send anything. I understand times are hard.

When we reach our goal I will announce it and stop accepting donations. It is urgent however that we raise the money as fast as possible.

Please use PayPal Pay Websleuths.com, LLC using PayPal.Me

We can't be sure that was voluntary.

Does anyone else find it strange or telling that the father of Maddi's children has not been named, made a plea for Maddi to return home to their children and was not at the presser?

I'm left to wonder, who are the children staying with? Their father or someone else....

[...]

... it’s not clear who was driving the vehicle.

The van is believed to have remained parked in the driveway of Kingsbury's residence from 1:30 p.m. onwards.

[...]

Police said investigators searched the van and residence and inside the home found her phone, the jacket she was wearing earlier that morning, her wallet and ID.

[...]

Hopefully the van has been forensically searched.

Police say the investigation is still very open and active, and they do not have a suspect or person of interest at this time.

I definitely find it strange AND telling. I wonder if the father of her children lived with them?

Who picked up the children from daycare if the van never left the driveway after 1:30? It would only make sense that they called the father to come pick them up...he would have a vehicle with car seats. Unless they have two vehicles, in which case, why did he take Maddi's vehicle to run errands when he knew she need it to go to work?

  • 8:00 a.m. - Madeline and her partner drop their 5-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son at daycare.
  • 8:15 a.m. - The dark blue 2014 Chrysler Town and Country minivan Madeline drives returns to her residence. Madeline doesn't show up for work at Mayo Clinic, something Chief Williams says "is very unlike her."
  • 10:00 a.m. Madeline's partner tells police he left the residence in her van, returned later in the day and she was gone. Police say there is nothing to suggest she left on foot or in another vehicle.
  • 10:00 a.m. through 1:30 p.m. - Investigators believe a van "similar" to Madeline's was seen driving on County Road 12 and Highway 43 in Winona County, and then on Highway 43 in eastern Fillmore County. The van was later found in the driveway of her residence.
We have seen this movie before....

Were they both seen at the daycare? Maybe she wasn't in the van at all going to the daycare. Imo.

I am curious to know what time she was supposed to be at work. How was she supposed to get there if her husband had the van? :( MOO
I don't think the husband was supposed to have the van. I don't think he lived with them.

I think he just turned up and, well.... something happened.

He may have even been watching her house to see what time she returned from dropping the kids off at kindergarten.

Reading between the lines, bits on her Facebook page, there is no mention of the husband, no photos of the husband, and there was a post a while back that she was looking for a new place to live in April.

From early articles it said they both took the children to daycare ?

Desperate search for missing mom-of-two, 26, who vanished five days ago before she could collect her kids from daycare: Phone and wallet are found in her house

  • Madeline Kingsbury, 26, was last seen March 31 at around 10 a.m. at her house
  • Her partner says he left their house in a minivan and returned to find her missing
  • Police believe her disappearance was 'involuntary' and 'suspicious'
