I just started following this sad case yesterday and I'm just wondering, the person driving her van the day she went missing, has he offered up to LE each and every stop on his 3+ hour time frame that day?
From what LE has said, it doesn't sound like it.

I also am very familiar with the area. I live 2 hrs north of Winona, but have family in that vicinity. My thoughts right away was the Mississippi River is so close. It's expected to flood very soon, that would be awful. But the miles of woods & hills is just as bad. I wish all volunteers & LE best of luck in your search.
I thought of the Mississippi, too. It’s melting off in places, probably even more so that far south. With the 10 day forecast, there should be lots of melting.

I wonder if something other than her body was disposed of on Highway 43.

@Megnut, the van is a 2014 model.

There doesn't appear to be enough time for an elaborate burial. Water, wildlife, shallow grave.

1000% respect to LE for this massive search effort.

Let's bring her home.

I read it's a 2014 Chrysler Town & Country. I have the exact same van, and wondered if she has GPS in it. It records trip logs so that would certainly be helpful for LE.

TIMELINE

March 31, Friday
  • 8:00 a.m. - MK and her partner [later clarified as the children's father] drop their 5-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son at daycare.
  • 8:15 a.m. - The dark blue 2014 Chrysler Town and Country minivan MK drives returns to her residence. MK doesn't show up for work at Mayo Clinic, something Chief Williams says "is very unlike her."
  • 10:00 a.m. - The children's father tells police he left the residence in her van, returned later in the day and she was gone. LE says there is nothing to suggest she left on foot or in another vehicle.
  • 10:00 a.m. through 1:30 p.m. - A van similar to MK’s was driven on County Road 12 and (State) Highway 43 in Winona County, and then southbound on Highway 43 through the eastern part of Fillmore County. Later a van similar to MK’s traveled back toward Winona on Highway 43. All of this occurred between approximately 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
  • 1:30 pm - MK’s van returned home.
  • MK didn’t pick her children up from daycare that afternoon and didn’t make any other arrangements.
  • Numerous calls from friends and family went unanswered.
April 1, Saturday
  • MK is reported missing Saturday morning.
  • MK’s cellphone, wallet, ID and the jacket she was wearing on Friday, 3/31 were all found inside the home.
  • The van was backed in, which a friend called "the first red flag" since "she’s a terrible driver and anybody will tell you that.”

They were calling the person who took the van "partner" in early reports. It's now being reported as the children's father, and one article says "husband." We've also seen "roommate." I'm sticking with "children's father" for now.

Her personal belongings were found in the home.

He was also referred to as "ex boyfriend" on a Finding Madeline Kingsbury fb page post saying what is known:

Thanks for the timeline. Do we know what time MK was to report to work and how she normally traveled to and from work?

from what I have read... --info is very limited and posted in the timeline . No info on her work schedule or working from home or on site options. I think it was reported she was expected at work that day , and concerns about her not showing up were mentioned. Also her normal method of getting to work is not mentioned. Praying in Motown

Family release photos of Madeline Kingsbury’s tattoos

Madeline Kingsbury’s family have released several photos of her distinct tattoos in hopes that they could help locate the mother who has now been missing for a week.

The photos were included in a post on the “Find Madeline Kingsbury” Facebook page which sought to debunk false speculation on the case.

Madeline Kingsbury’s sister pleads for her safe return

Ms Kingsbury’s elder sister, Megan, addressing the media on Wednesday, offered a $50,000 reward for information on the missing woman’s whereabouts.

“To be honest I don’t know everything,” she said about the current investigation into her sister’s disappearance.

“Madeline is many things. She’s a mother, sister, daughter, best friend, granddaughter, niece. It’s a long list.

“Madeline is a hard-working and dedicated mother. Family is everything to her and she’s grown into an impressive and beautiful young woman.

“Please help us find Madeline. The children need their mother. We need our daughter, our sister, our aunt, our best friend back. We just want to find her, so, thank you.”

Volunteer search leaders warn against family harassment

The official Facebook page for Madeline Kingsbury’s disappearance has put out a stern statement indicating that members of the missing mother’s family have been targets of harassment over the course of the search.

A post on the “Finding Madeline Kingsbury” page late Thursday night states: “We want to address something that has been brought to our attention. We will not condone the harassing of Maddi’s family or friends for information.

“When there is an active investigation, they do not need to disclose every detail for any number of reason. More often than not though, it’s to protect the victim or to not jeopardize their chances at catching the perpetrator and pressing charges. If there is information we can share, it will be shared via the page.

“We post this information so that people can be aware but we will not post info like that anymore if people are going to harass family, friends and businesses that may be involved. And that would be a huge disservice to Maddi. It is completely inappropriate and we will not tolerate it.”

Madeline Kingsbury’s loved ones continue desperate search

Madeline Kingsbury’s loved ones are combing through the area where she was last seen hoping to find clues of her whereabouts.

“We need hundreds of people to cover this ground. It takes like 100 people in one field just to do I think what they call American Arms and if you send two people out there it’s just not enough,” a friend of Madeline who did not wish to be named told KIMT3 News.

The Winona Police Department has requested assistance from neighbouring authorities in Wilson Township and Hillsdale Township.

“It’s just draining for me and the family and some of the friends here. They’re just over the questions, you know? ‘What was happening, what was she doing?’ It’s just not going to help find her.”
