Well perhaps, many of us are thinking--and clearly this is only moo-- Is History repeating itself?
And, I personally, believe we have to consider this, since we ARE living in aggressive times.

eg. The US did not enter WW2 until 1941. But Hitler started detaining and imprisoning "people" the very moment he took office in 1933.
Once we start turning "the right to assemble" into "they should not have inserted themselves into the situation", we are starting to slide that very slippery slope.

quite frankly, I don't know that the victim in this case DIDN'T have ID on him.

I only know that the same agency that lied to us about him assaulting agents and having plans to unleash maximum damage upon agents CLAIMS that is the case. I don't find that agency credible. JMO MOO IMO

And if perchance he did not have his ID on him, there is a penalty under the law that covers such a misdemeanor infraction, and it isn't death.

(b) A citation issued for violating paragraph (a) must be dismissed if the person demonstrates, in court or in the office of the arresting officer, that the person was authorized to carry the pistol at the time of the alleged violation.

So, by applying the simple rules of English comprehension - that we all learned in school, let alone Law School - not having the permit on you does NOT render the carry of the pistol unlawful because holding a permit is the only way to carry a pistol lawfully! Its lack of physical presence does not make carry or possession of the pistol unlawful.

But in this case, they did know who ICE was targeting. He went into the donut shop and the owner locked the door and ICE was unable to come in. At that point, ICE should have left the scene and gone to get a judicial warrant or whatever they may have needed to apprehend their target. That’s literally their ONLY job. They didn’t do that. They pushed over 2 women and then shot a man in the back.

I swear, people are totally forgetting about this very important statement. Moo.

Keep in mind that Minnesota law states that the permit to carry must be on the person when they carry along with ID. He did not have those. So, he may not have been lawfully carrying.

First, according yo your source Alex did not have an ID. It says nothing about him having or not the permit on his person.

Second, the same source (the feds) that claims he did not have the ID, also claimed he was attacking the agents which, as we know, completely untrue.

Third, what we should be analysing here is not Alex's decision to carry, but the decision of the two agents to pump ten bullets into the back of unarmed man, who was pinned to the ground.

I certainly dont see it that way. ICE has requested that Minneapolis police assist with crowd control in these situations. The Mayor wont allow it. They aren't asking MPD to help them with the immigration arrests, just to keep the peace. Isn't that a police department's job? Neither one of these fatal shootings would have happened if police had been on scene to help with crowd control.

Another woman is facing charges after allegedly biting the finger of a federal immigration enforcement agent on Saturday in Minneapolis...

When the Border Patrol agent attempted to remove the mask Baierl was wearing, Baierl allegedly forcibly bit the middle finger on the agent’s right hand, the affidavit states.

The Border Patrol agent was wearing gloves at the time of the incident, but Baierl’s bite was still allegedly able to cause physical injury, the affidavit states.

Baierl was released from custody by a judge on her own recognizance. A preliminary hearing in the matter has yet to be set.
