It can be argued the ICE agent in this case is a victim of an attack by the driver of this vehicle. Said woman placed her vehicle in drive and accelerated toward the ICE agent, that alone being an act of aggression, whether investigation determines he was struck or not. Until proven otherwise, which may or may not occur, and in that light, being a victim friendly website, this ICE agent should be treated as such, a victim of an aggressive driver.

I agree protesting is not illegal. I never said any of the things you mentioned are illegal.

Blocking the road is illegal. The way her vehicle was positioned is considering blocking the road. Even if vehicles were able to get around her the position of her vehicle matters. The totality of the event all matters. We don’t even know all the details yet. We’ve seen a lot, but I’m sure more information will come out for us to go through with a fine tooth comb.

1) A misdemeanor.
2) ICE agents can't make traffic stops.
3) Agent should have called local LE to deal with it if there was a serious issue - for instance, if she wouldn't leave. But, she WAS leaving. Instead, he shot her in the face.

It’s mostly single-family homes. It’s diverse and has been undergoing gentrification in recent years. It’s a few blocks north of where George Floyd was killed in 2020, which contributed to a community already engaged in social justice and protest movements.

so are there rentals? why does ICE believe there are illegals in these homes? wouldn't the deeds show who owns them? am I missing something?

Again, ICE does not have jurisdiction over traffic offenses. Why were the agents escalating a situation they had no authority over?

I don’t know how to do that. It’s the one where the officer is filming with his camera as she guns the gas toward him you can clearly see she hit him. He was already injured 6 months ago being drug by a car. What are these officers supposed to do? They want to go home at night too! Also it was a fluid scene, there could have been other civilians or officers in her path and if she had struck a civilian he would be criticized for not stopping her! These officers can’t win!

I’m sure there are plenty of rentals in the neighborhood. I can’t answer your questions regarding if or why ICE would believe there are illegals in those homes. I have no idea what information ICE is given or how they get their information or daily assignments.
