Hopefully we will know more soon.

It certainly would explain why his past history does not scream murderer or pedophile.
So many are jumping to the conclusion that he was a predator, and I just don't think we have enough from LE or his back ground to go there.

Or to the roadkill notion either...just makes me sick!

Except, what do you really think the odds are that this man confessed to this poster's Dad? I think nil...

For now, I'm not buying that scenario...it's just too senseless.

Maybe Im reading it wrong... I took it to mean she heard it from ER, not SM. It could be someone seeking attention, or someone who was misinformed...Its just all so confusing and heartbreaking.

Miabellamoure, We were posting the same at the same time, lol.

Carriebean,
That is exactly my point. LE has not stated she was molested or raped.
That is purely speculation. I was only clarifying. HTH :)

Keep in mind, LE stated "suffocation" and they were looking for her body. Something has to make sense somewhere especially with the charges.

  • #426
I guess he may have confessed what he'd done if he thought the cause of death would come up when she is found...(if this is true, of course.)I don't know what to think about it; the weapon would not be the car if he suffocated her, because the car did not kill her, in this story, he did...

We are just going to have to wait and see what LE will share regarding how this all happened. When I look at the street and the houses so close together, how could someone not hear something?

It wouldn't necessarily have to be loud or with much speed. A 3-4 thousand pound vehicle against a little light weight bike and a soft body. There wouldn't even have to be blood. Head trauma or internal injuries.

IMO

Wow! My big problem with the scenario given is who (besides CFCA) makes an accident into a murder? I can see someone who has been busted saying this is how it happened but just can't wrap my head around anyone doing such a heinous thing to a young child involved in an accident. Running away yes, people panic hit and run. But to callously pickup a young child you just accidently injured and murder them? Who could do such a thing?

Add to that the fact that the three year old was on a bike, in the street, with no parental supervision, and it is very unlikely that the driver would have faced any charges at all for hitting her!

I'm not buying that theory. This happened on Saturday morning on a street with (reportedly) plenty of other kids. Mom says she could glance out the window and see her riding her bike. IMO, there is no way he could have run over the child, got out, picked her up put her in the car, (still alive but hurt), go back for the bike, put it in the car or his garage, and no one saw or heard any of it.

It's not like this happened early before poeple were out and about. It must have happened 10:30-11am. People were awake, the weather was fine, window curtains and blinds would be open.

It is awfully strange for LE to be making these statements about cause of death and lack of sexual assault without finding her or having an autopsy...have never heard of this before...I hope LE is not showing inexperience here...

I have been wondering if he confessed in front of his wife or if he was alone with LE when he did. That might make a difference in any story he told.

  • #432
If Breeann died by being hit by a vehicle, then I would think the charge would be vehicular homicide. However, IF she was hit by the car, and still alive, and later suffocated, then the charges against him make sense.

No one knows how far Breeann may have been down the street or up the street.

And if his story is true, why not tell or show LE where he put her?
My answer, speculation, is that he does not want them to find her because her little body will reveal more to the story. :(

Good thoughts, but...from I understand, he is charged with 1st degree murder. Does that not involve some sort of planning? Stuff like this happens, but is very rare. Been a few hrs since I have read here but from what I have read, my thoughts...he doesn't have a violent criminal record ...he's a creep who just hasn't been caught yet, or just hasn't acted on sick fantasies yet. I don't believe for one second that there is a even somewhat innocent explanation for what happened to Breeann.

What even remotely sane minded person would act this way?

Runs over and and panics doesn't = 1st degree murder.

Ugh, I gotta go back and read. I think the lck of charges equal the laack of evidencce at this point. I believe he's a typical 🤬🤬🤬 who preys on children. There are too many out there, and plenty out there that we don't know about yet.

If he suffocated her with the pretense of a mercy killing. It 1st degree murder.

My guess is that they have some kind of evidence that she is dead, but no evidence that she was abuse (I hate typing that and even more thinking that). I think that her body would have to be examined to know there was absolutely abuse

Well that would be the logical thing to do, but obviously that is not going to happen otherwise he would have done the logical thing by calling 911.

Someone just posted a comment to the YouTube video I created and it may OR maybe not be what actually happened.

Breeann Rodriguez: Arrest Made - Still Looking For Breeann (INFO ONLY!!) - YouTube (see comment by manriquez98)

WOW! Thank U Patty G! You know what? At one time, I'd never believe something like this...but after the story of the woman who kept that poor man in her garage stuck in her windshield out of the fear of criminal charges... I can definitely believe this version of the story. Plus, one (or 2) of our sleuths already mentioned a similar scenario in explanation... so, just wow.

  • #439
Perhaps his version, at this time, is one he thinks his own children (and wife) can better live with?

  • #440
People panic, and when they do, they do not think clearly at all.

Especially if substance abuse (alcohol or drugs) are invovled.
