As far as I know, OW hasn't had any of his civil rights violated.

how about his workplace rights? his human right to protect himself? can't wait for it all to come out . . .

RE; the GJ leak;

First of all, who knows if the conversation ever happened. Why do 'insiders' here have to be verified before they can post any info? Because we all know how many trolls there are, making chit up.

So I doubt seriously there was ever anything to this story.

Which is why I question whether we should post to twitter ever.

True. It is more accurate to say that, after the Jennings PD was shut down amidst controvery, OW was not one of about 7 Jennings officers that were hired by the County PD, some continuing to work the Jennings area.

he took a job at Ferguson PD for more $$$

others went to the City which pays more $$$$$$$

Good morning! Now that the thread is open I have to leave for work, lol!

I see things were pretty calm last night and no arrests. Thankful for the bad weather.

Have a great day!

"Initially, a three-member panel appointed by the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel called for a minimum two-year suspension because Bosley admitted in court Dec. 9 that he mishandled clients’ funds. It also noted Bosley combined personal and client funds, used trust account money to pay personal expenses and failed to keep accurate records."

More about Bosley's suspension and the investigation into it in the last thread. Just FYI.

Voter registration in Ferguson surges

[Anthony Bell, St. Louis 3rd Ward committeeman] began registering people two days after Brown was shot. He was at Canfield Green Apartments shortly after the teen was killed and watched as his body lay in the street for hours. The experience motivated him to lead a protest the next day and start registering people. He started with a clipboard and later set up a booth a few blocks from the shooting scene.

"The problem so far, hasn't been, as far as I understand, registration so much as it has been turnout."

"The apathy regarding voters is rampant in this county," she said. "I mean if we get 10 or 15 (percent of registered voters to vote) that's good."

Community leaders plan to mobilize voters during the upcoming election and ensure that people make it to the polls, said Anthony Shahid, one of the most visible activists who has been protesting in Ferguson since Brown's death.

The prosecutor's office is "looking into the matter," said Ed Magee, the office's spokesman, when asked about the tweet.

"I'm not sure I'd call it an investigation," Mr. Magee said of the prosecutor's office efforts at this time, adding that any allegations of jury tampering would be "unfounded" right now. Mr. Magee said earlier in the week that the jurors have been vetted and that the prosecutor's office trusts their integrity to abide by set rules, including secrecy.

"We've never had a case when we've presented this much evidence," he said.

Lord help us!!! :rollercoaster:

I think he means sequestered. Impounded means to "hold". I have visions of them meeting at the dog pound.

From what I heard on the livestream last night, these protests are going to be an ongoing, routine, nightly thing from now on. Many have quit their jobs and their schooling to protest together nightly. This is the 'new normal' for Ferguson.
